I feel for her (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=564&ncid=564&e=2&u=/nm/20041117/ts_nm/iraq_hassan_reaction_dc). I really do. One of these days outrage will turn into action, and then he Iraqies will not need protection from us. They'll start taking matters in their own hands.

Unforunately, i'm starting to think that they don't really want to be free. It's an unfortunate mess we have ourselves in.

I made up my mind. I am enlisting in the Marines after Christmas. I promised my family I would think about it over the holidays. But there is little that will change my mind. I have had it up to my ears with this kind of shit.

Well God Bless You, my friend.
Good Luck & Semper Fi, my Dad was a Marine, Don't let those Paris Island Sand Fleas get to you too much.

God help her family. This is the saddest thing I've seen all day. It makes me sick.

This (http://daily.gazette.com/Repository/ml.asp?Ref=VGhlR2F6ZXR0ZS8yMDA0LzExLzE3I0FyMDAzMDQ =&Mode=HTML&Locale=english-skin-custom) is also quite sad.

With the aid she has provided over the years, my hope is that the Iraqis will realize that the insurgents (most of whom aren't Iragi) are the real enemy.

That is very sad. This whole thread is very sad. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif
Sometimes it feels as if there isn't enough sunshine in the world.

This (http://daily.gazette.com/Repository/ml.asp?Ref=VGhlR2F6ZXR0ZS8yMDA0LzExLzE3I0FyMDE5MDE =&Mode=HTML&Locale=english-skin-custom) cheered me up. There is still plenty of sunshine in the world!

Well, that kinda cheers me up. Though it also makes me sad because it's the same as my first car (1987 Nissan Pulsar NX) still sits in my parents driveway. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif Maybe those cars are prone to random acts of violence. I just replaced it last week with a Honda Civic because I couldn't afford or find the parts to fix mine.
But thanks for trying to spread some sunshine. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

[/ QUOTE ] There is no pleasing you, is there. This is exactly the high-maintenance attitude we don't need around here. We try and try, but it's never good enough. That's it; no more expensive dinners, no more fancy clothes, no more sunshine when you're feeling down. To the curb with you! Let's see how demanding you are without your meal ticket.

That, or you could try taking Prozac. After a couple of those, maybe our actions will be good enough for you.

I remain high-maintenence to weed out the lazy ones. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Meal ticket?
Aren't you talking about panhandling in another thread?

Robbo_the_Hood

There is a difference between panhandling and giving BJ's for coke money. I provide a service for which I am compensated so I can purchase the goods I so desperately need. Panhandlers just want money for nothing.

And do you know how much coke costs these days? I make pretty decent scratch. At least enough to get get the doctor to look at my TMJ.

Panhandling....Manhandling...
These days aren't they all the same? /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif

I left it wide open for someone to make a Dire Straights reference, but noooooooo. Zens would have picked up on that.

That's why Zens is our favorite. That and she's not all high maintenance, like some people on here.

Oh, and I did get this, Ozzie.

So what if I'm a little slow or less cultured than the beautiful Zens. I can still fly like an eagle with my mean mean pride. /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif

[/ QUOTE ] [Zen's stands in the mirror fussing with her mascara and straighting her sweater. She makes a face when she realizes the cashmere is getting a little nubby. Makes mental note to throw it out immediately and buy new and maybe some baby seal leather pants to go with...]

[Robbo walks up] Hi Zen. You look great.

[Zen stops fussing, turns around and drips...] Hi Robbo. Oh this old thing, and I just rolled out of bed this way five minutes ago.

See? Nothing but class, I tell you.

And she never shows off the kitchen to everyone.

Reminds me of a Billy Joel song.
