Blech. I had no idea that the title of this topic was telling the truth. If that rakes in at the box office I'll burn all my money on the spot, just to make sure my money never indirectly funds crap like this.

Remember when movies weren't described by using other movies?

I thought that 2 Fast 2 Furious was a bad omen, but this truly heralds an apocalypse of biblical proportions.

Well, we are all [censored] now. Only one thing left to do and that is just put your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye.

Wait until you see Whoopi's new TV show or UPN's THE MULLETS and you'll be BEGGING for the world to end.

Is SARS in Toronto the divine retribution for foisting Avril on all of us? Just asking.

Don't forget Miss Match...I saw that as an Apocalyptic outcry long before it made the fall schedule...

Thought it was going to be a joke or something, well actually it is...
I like canada in general. Hey, they might even decriminalize the 'ol MJ /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
But this Avril project has to stop!

Sadly for either the season or for my own personal tastes, but MISS MATCH was one of the ones I've enjoyed the most so far...Alicia Silverstone has that certain je ne sais quoi that makes it bearable. It's, dare I say it, kinda cute, even.

Everyone bunker down!!! /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

Didn't Nostradamus predict this?

There will come a time when a wannabe anti-pop princess will rain upon us with some of the worst lyrics of all time and brainwash others to produce it into film and it will signify the end unto civilisation. (Plus it will cause plagues of bugs and rain of fire!)

Yeah i think thats how it goes!

Then I'll just shut up till I see the finished product. I hear its amazing what they can do in Post production...Or perhaps I've become jaded?

MTV isn't even trying anymore. First, they give a bunch of cameras to a bunch of drunk frat boys, Fraternity Life. Then, they give cameras to whiny bi*ches, Sorority Life. Then they follow the whiny bi*ches to the beach, Surfgirls. And now this. The whole script is based on a three minute song. And I thought the music video was bad.

he was a boy, she was a girl, it was a song, now its a film, then a bunch of consumers (so called skater/punks) went to see this sucky film (probably the same audience that went to se e cross roads.) and will probably say its the best film ever, avril lavigne sucks, some real life geek throwback with a voice reinvented by pop music pushers (like the teen idol shows.) Anyonw who sees this movie I pity, because they prove that the idiots who thought of the idea can actually create a cashflow, to quote another film "I will be boyvotting this movie" but then I boycott many movies (like the one with queen latifah and steve martin out at the mo.) Don't see this film.

Yes but Crossroads had Britney Spears half naked all the time. This Avril Lavigne movie is just an attempt to copy some wigger's (Eminem) success.

How is Avril copying Eminem?

Eminem starred in the movie and Avril isn't even going to be in this one.

Well lets see, popular-singer-that-appeals-to-teenage-white-guys-who-think-they-are-being-rebellious decides to make a movie. Nope can't think who that reminds me of?
