Thought I'd try my hand at topic creation, so be gentle with me...

If you were limited to seeing 5 yet-to-be-released movies within the next 12 months, what would you see and why?

My what:
Seabiscuit
Stuck On You
Jersey Girl
Kill Bill
Prozac Nation

Why? I've seen enough to know I want to see more...

Here are mine ( a little more action-heavy.....)

Matrix: Revolutions
Kill Bill
Jersey Girl
LOTR 3
Terminator 3

This is all I can think of right now....I'm sure these movies will not be the end all be all of film, but I am looking forward to them.

Trying to find the email I got, it was a press release from Lion's Gate. Basically, they loved the movie, it turned a profit, they see it as a franchise potentially. Zombie was grateful for them picking the movie up, and is eager to work with them again. Filming starts in the fall to be released as close to the 1 year mark from the original as possible. DVD on the first one is August 12, by the way.

Lots of potentially good flicks coming out :

1. The Lord of the Rings - Return of the King

2. Battle Royal 2

3. Kill Bill

4. King Kong - ( Peter Jackson apparently has the Green Light to make a Start )

5. Jersey Girl

Maybes: Apparently following the success of the Lors of the Rings Trilogy - the hobbit will be made after Jackson Finishes King Kong.

All of these would be cool for me?

-Jersey Girl
-Kill Bill (parts 1 + 2?)
-Tron 2.0 (has a chance being made, depending on the success of the new computer game)
-The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (there is a final script but production stalled after Adams died)
-The Punisher

2 of these movie depend on fate, but their potential for greatness is enough to be on my list.

28 Days later- I'm a zombie movie fanatic, so I can't wait to see what a skilled director like Danny Boyle can do with the genre. The premise sounds pretty similar to Richard Matheson's "I Am Legend," one of my favorite books.

Kill Bill- Tarantino. Yea!

The Matrix Revolutions- I don't care what anyone says, I loved Reloaded. Greatly anticipating and looking forward to this one.

Jersey Girl- Just to see what a piece of crap it is. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Please don't hurt me.

Freddy VS. Jason- How cool of an idea is this?

And they're doing another Leprechaun movie?

Oh MY GOD! Razorback just picked the same 5 movies as me! The Apocalypse is here! I have to start hating the Matrix now!

Nah, it doesn't open here until June 27th. Have you seen it? I've heard mixed things. I don't see how you can go wrong with a summertime zombie flick, so I'm in no matter what.

1- Freddy Vs. Jason-the two most kickass killers ever on screen together in a battle, if it makes enough money there will be more, too.

2-Terminator 3-well, the 1st was pretty good, but the 2nd was [censored] awesome as hell and it seems like based on the trend the third will somehow be better.

3-Jersey Girl-Kevin Smith without Jay and Silent Bob maybe it will be his first really mature film ever.

4-Matrix 3-I loved the 1st 2 so I have a feeling I'll at least like the 3rd a little.

5-The Hulk-the plot of the comic is halarious-guy gets pissed and starts [censored] [censored] up.

Already got my copy...I was pleasantly surprised that someone did something original instead of the usual "so these 5 oversexed teens go to this...(fill in the blank), and these zombies show up" type of storyline.

Hey I'm new to this site, and this is my first post so don't be too hard on me. I think the five best movies yet to be released are

1) Scary Movie 3: The Lord of the Brooms
2) Jersey Girl
3) Spider-Man 2
4) Helldorado (starring The Rock of WWE)
5) American Pie 3: American Wedding

Jersey Girl: I hope u jay and silent bob fans see a film from the same company can work without them, like you dont see mickey making cameos in the lion king do ya?
LotR Return of the King: Overall more beautiful camerawork and plot, but very nice.
American Wedding: I know it wont have all the cast, but as long as Eugene Levy and Seann W Scott are in it, you'll be saying tara reid who?
Matrix Revolutions: I wasn't too fond of the second, THirds a charm as they say.
Terminator 3: like others I want to see how badly this film fails, and also if the film follows tradition, we'll be treated to a naked female terminator killing people to get her clothes fit. Makes a change from the Arnie moonshot we've had to endure before.

Well, here are four:

Pirates of the Caribbean -- You would think a film named after a ride at Disney would be crap (judging by Tower of Terror anyway), but with Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush and Orlando Bloom in this, it must have a chance.

LOTR: ROTK -- Amazing locations and sets, fantastic story, beautiful cast members, conclusion of the last two movies.

Ned Kelly -- Hubby is Australian, so it's about time I learned the story of the Aussie version of Jesse James.

Starsky and Hutch -- Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are a pretty good bet for a funny interpretation of this.

It's pure coincidence that three of these four movies have Orlando Bloom in them ... I think.

If Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson do a third "Shanghai" movie, I'm there.

I believe nothing until it comes from Kevin or Miramax directly...If it is true, it'll be the longest I've waited to see a movie I've participated in (on a very tiny scale, mind you), ever. Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll have a Vulgarthon this summer/fall and show it there! Hey Chris, have you heard anything from the Man on this rumor?
