So I have to work on this Group Project for school. I go to College and I am doing group [censored] projects. Anyway its on Stem Cell Research, so I got stuck doing the poltics of it. Which sucks...sucks so hard. I really havent been following either partys stances, but Man do I not give a flying shit about this project.
So I am slacking. Watching Teen Titans and thinking of going to Wendy's. If I go to Wendy's I can get a #4 Big Bacon Classic with Fries and a Drink, or I could get a #6 Spicky Chicken Sandwhich Combo. But what if I get the Chicken Sandwhich and then but the bacon and hamburger patties in it. I would have 3 types of meat!
mmmmmmmmmm....Heart Attack

#3 and then do some research.

Over here, Wendy's is an ice-cream shop!
Is Wendy's the place with the square burger patties? That cannot be more wrong! Round bun = Round patty. That's the way it works dammit! /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Wendy's prides itself on the fact that its square patties stick out of the bun. You get more meat. You want more meat, don't you? Hmmm?

I vote Spicy Chicken because it is my favorite.
As for group projects, there is a reason behind their entirely annoying existance. In fact, my boy-unit and I were discussing this the other evening.
Group projects are one of the few truly annoying and truly beneficial real life situations you get from college. In the real world you will be asked to team up with people all the time that you do not particularly like and do not pull their fair share. You especially do not get to pick what projects you get assigned to. They suck, and so do the real world version of these.
Even worse, I am a project manager, so it is my function to compile teams and force other people to do exactly what your professor is doing. Consider it the only real preparation you will probably be given for post-college life.
And I reiterate...SPICY CHICKEN! But I do mine plain with cheese. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

I was project manager for my senior project... I can't imagine doing that for a living. I lost all the hair on my palms doing that job.
Spicy Chicken is my favorite too... we are so made for each other. Isn't it crazy that we are with other people? /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Group projects suck. We get at least one for each unit at uni. Its hard enough to get through the units when you're working fulltime and studying parttime, let alone when you're forced to find 2 other people to do some retarded project with and find a common time to organise the damn thing. I find it particularly useless in that I've been working fulltime for 7 years and alot of the time in team situations. I don't need any goddamn practice at it! We have to do group evaluations at the end of the project too, so I also note how ridiculous it is to insist on group work.
end rant.

There's only one thing people were meant to do in groups. Make sweet sweet love.

Apparently, I'm odd (wo)man out. I always liked group projects. I had more fun with them because you could do grander scale things. Although, I hate them when it's just me and one other person. Those suck. Usually those just cause me to want to work alone.
I'm a big fan of the big classic.
I never liked group projects either. Some schmuck always gets stuck doing most of the work.
Oh, and skip the numbers and go with a Jr. Cheesburger Deluxe. They are mighty tastey.

<font color="purple">Group projects blow. I was the only one that did them and when I did them, they always turned out awesome and my whole group took credit for the work they didn't do. I was a nerd in School, so of course, they would take advantage of that. The assholes.
Oh, and Wendy's nuggets are the bomb! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif</font color>
Actually the last group project I was in I got stuck doing the work. It was a college business class and everyone was put into groups of five. Three of the five in the group I was in, dropped the class after the first week and I got stuck working on the project with a Romanian druggy. Oh, so much fun. I'm surprised I even passed that class.
This thread is making me hungery, but at least i know where i'm going for lunch. Ummmmm. #2 combo no Mayo no Tomatos.

Last Night I got the Spicy Chicken AND a Big Bacon Classic. I Combined the two to form the MEGA MEAT SANDWHICH. It was good, but next time no onions
Also You put cheese on the Spicy Chicken Goodness? You have broken the 12th Commandement
Today I picked Rico up from school, and we went to WENDY's and I had another Spicy Chicken Sandwhich.
Thats 2 in a time span of less than 12 hours.

Ozchick, that's weird about Wendy's because I know New Zealand has them. I'm surprised that Austrailia doesn't. Weird. You'd think if they are in that part of the world they would be in both countries.

Group projects blow.
Wendy's is the worst fast food restaurant.
No Way!!!
Wendy's rules the school. My vote for worst goes to McDonalds.
The quality of the fast food joint depends on the quality of service. I ordered a cheeseburger at McDonalds once and they forgot the meat. I got a ketchup and cheese sandwich instead.
That sounds like an improvement to me.
It was, that's why I didn't go back for the rest of the burger.

I'm not crazy over McD's either, but Wendy's burgers always seem to taste like the afore mentioned ketchup sandwich, with some disgusting mayo added.
Yeah, I get what you mean. I really don't like any fast food all that much. I'm more of a take-out girl, when I don't have to cook.

The worst thing about fast food is that toxic sludge they call cheese. Do they really think putting that crap on every new sandwich they develop makes it more appealing?
Well, they are quite popular so to some, I am sure toxic sludge is an appetizing delicacy.

Speaking of cheese, does "American" cheese bother anybody else? At the risk of sounding "unpatriotic", I despise American cheese. I flat out refuse to eat it.
Well i don't even think it's really cheese. It's more like "cheese type food". But yes, make mine, Swiss. Oh, and hold the Mayo.
I like it in tomato soup. But not on sandwiches. Unless they are grilled cheese sandwiches.
Oh, and it has to be the lighter of the two cheeses.

I also won't eat any process cheese if I can help it but especially American. Give me the sharp cheddar.
I had this discussion at work the other day and it actually does say cheese type food on the package. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

The first paragraph of this (http://vm.cfsan.fda.gov/~ear/rflmcdon.html) letter is kind of alarming.
Next you guys will be telling me you don't like Velvetta.
jjcourtright
11-09-2004, 05:15 PM
Completely different.
Here's Dave's recipe for the worlds best cheese dip.
Take the big brick of Velveeta
one can of Rotel tomatos (regular)
one can of Rotel Tomatos (hot)
Mix together, heat and serve with Tostido's Scoops.
jjcourtright
11-09-2004, 05:29 PM
I go with Velveeta, hamburger, salsa, milk.
DangerSeeker
11-09-2004, 06:02 PM
Velveeta, a little mozzerella, hot salsa, a tiny bit of chopped onion (very fine) and chopped garlic. We're talking almost imperceptable on those last two. Microwave till soft, stir. Microwave another minute, stir. Should be super hot & liquidy. Keep stirring until fully mixed, reheat when ready to serve. Add beer (not to dip, but to your tummy).

Awwww... hamburger... good thought.
Must experiment with cheese dip...

The weirdest and funniest fast food thing I saw in the US whilst we were there was McD's advertising New Chicken McNuggets - now with white meat! Here I was assuming the whole time that chicken was white meat!!! I really don't want to know what colour the meat was in the old nuggets!
Also, Fangirl - Something else Australia doesn't have that NZ does is sex with sheep /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

I used to think the best fast food burger was from Sonic. The Supersonic with Jalepenos. That was one big ass double cheeseburger. I had a regular burger there the other day and was disappointed. Sonic's shakes are still the bomb though. Especially their Caramel-Apple; holy shit that one is super.
I think the worst fast food sandwich ever was the McRib by McDonalds. That was the nastiest shit tasting piece of processed meat ever. The BBQ sauce they used on it sucked too.
Of course, I haven't eaten at a Death (Jack) in the Box since the early 80's, so I am not sure how they are anymore. All I know is back then, people used to always get seriously sick from their food. Well, at least up in the Seattle area.

I'm all about Heart Attack, er, Carl's Jr. BBQ sauce and onion rings on most items. Love it. Wish there was one closer than El Paso, though.

Chili-Cheese anything from Sonic kicks ass. It doesn't matter if it is fries, tots, or hotdogs.....mmmm mmmm mmmmm.

Remember those commercials from a few years back, when everything got better by putting chili on it? Most hated those; I thought they were [censored] hilarious!
I do love Frito pie. You tried the new frito pie wrap, or whatever it is?
ratm1966
11-10-2004, 12:43 AM
Ah crap! I forgot about the frito pie. Those kick ass too. I haven't had the Frito Pie Wrap thingy yet...or whatever it is called.
I now have a craving for a Chili-Cheese Conie, Chili-Cheese Tots, and a Caramel-Apple shake.

I like making my own at home, though, a little more than getting one at Sonic. It's easy to make, and the fact that I made it seems to make it taste that much better.

My second in a row! Since udm does nothing in a Phase II, we shut down Thursday morning. I was exhausted, though, and didn't do much of anything, knowing that another was around the corner. I need to do something this time, and I need to do a lot of studying, too.
But yes, I am.

She's almost all grown up now, isn't she?
Just caught a little bit of Rhinestone. Remember that movie? How did Stallone's career ever survive that?
ratm1966
11-10-2004, 01:01 AM
Yeah, she is a high schooler now.
How did Stallone's career survive after any of his movies? Well, the first Rambo and first Rocky were okay.

You just have to laugh at him getting a Best Actor nom for his performance in Rocky, and then he talks and acts like that in all of his movies, because he isn't really acting.
