hi i just thought with the release of the DVD and the coming of Episode III us starwars nerds could figure out plot holes. the only rule is it has to have to do with the movie, no books or vidoe games.

here are a few to start you off:

1: in Empire Strikes Back, Obi-wan's ghost tells Luke that Yoda trained him, even though Quay-Gon-Jin was his obvious master.

2: In A New Hope, Obi-wan tells luke he met his father when he was a fighter pilot, while in The Phantom Menace, Obi-wan meets Anikan when he's a little boy.

3: In A New Hope: Special Edition, Greedo shoots at Han in the Bar, but Han doesnt react, this scene is considered one of the biggest reasons why Special Edition Blows ass, as it falters Han's character as a bad-ass.

*using jedi mind trick*

You don't want to start threads like this. You don't want to bring up Star Wars unless you have solid and I mean solid back up and a very, very thick skin.

It's too late now, though. You dumped a bucket of blood in the water. Stand your ground and prepare for a ground and air assault commencing any moment.

oh dear lord it has begun

Are you afraid?

No! No i'm not afraid!

Good... You Will Be... You Will Be...

These are not plot holes.

Yoda did train him. Jinn just trained him through his teenage years into Knighthood.

In ANH Kenobi said that when he met Luke's father he was ALREADY a great pilot, not fighter pilot. He was already a great pilot or did you skip TPM?

Han does react. Also, even if he did not react how is that a plot hole? Do you even know what makes for a plot hole?

High, and welcome to your first day of class. Hope you brought something to take notes on.

It's Qui Gon Jinn , not Quay - whatever you said. All padawans trained within the order are trained by Yoda for their pre-reqs. beginner courses.

I guess you missed the part where Anakin ( as a little boy ) flew inside the droid control ship and blew it up , and that whole pod-racing sequence ?.. Hello ? Did you even see these movies ?

Your homework for tonight is to go watch these movies , pay attention, and try to understand instead of looking to "plot holes" in them.
Oh there's the bell. Sorry , I wont have time to bother with your third question today. If you're homework's not on my desk by this time tommorrow , you get an automatic F.

For too long these pot holes have been a nuisance in this community. Those fat cats don't have to worry about pot holes when they can fly to work in their corporate jets. But the hard-working American has to deal with them every day.

My opponent voted for the pot holes, before he voted against them. He says that it is the pot holes that are helping the economy turn the corner; every time someone has to buy new shocks, or trade in their cars. I say to my opponent, not everyone can afford new shocks on their cars when their jobs are being sent overseas.

When I am elected, I promise to roll back the tax break for the highest 3% of the population, and fill in those pot holes, while creating stable, and honorable jobs. Apparently, my opponent isn't concerned with fixing your pot holes. He thinks that your tax dollars are better spent trying to fix the pot holes in other places. Well, I say if we can't fix the pot holes at home, how do we expect to fill the pot holes in a galaxy far, far away.

I have always been consistent in my hatred of pot holes. I voted for the authority to fix the pot holes, but to fix the pot holes here. But my opponent is more concerned about the affairs in the desert than he is in domestic policies. For all the intelligence we have gathered, there has been no credible link between Imperial Storm Troopers and the pot holes on Tatooine.

Maybe the real reason my opponent is so interested in the area is because a high ranking official in his administration was the vice president of Moisture Corp. Industries, the largest Moisture Farm conglommerate in the system.

Clearly you have not heard of the case of Skywalker vs The Empire. Skywalker came home to find the Empire had killed his Uncle, and Aunt due to some property issue. But with all the blaster fire are you telling me that the Imperial Storm Troopers didnt create atleast one pothole?

I say that as long there are Imperial Storm Troopers there are the possiblities of PPH (Potenital Pot Holes) That and Rebel Intel suggest there may be a link between Pot holes and Ewoks. Invasion is the only surefire answer.

[/ QUOTE ] The bodies of Owen and Beru Lars may have been smoking, but there was no smoking gun. The evidence was circumstantial at best.

There is video evidence of Beru Whitesun killing herself and her husband, Owen Lars, with a thermal detonator.

I too saw that video and clearly the Candiates dont wish to talk about the cruel manner in which the Police force settles domestic disputes. Also they shot Jawas! Thats racial profling!

Razorback

The Jawas were thieves... they got what they deserved.

I see ALL Jawas are thieves! And all Wookies are lazy. These sterotypes make me sick.

Oh, look at Mr. PC. You whine more than my protocal droid. What's next; we start refering to Sand People as 'Native Tatooians?' Why don't we annex them to their own reservations while we're at it?

So um...(Too tired to do Math in head) next August?

I wonder if any movie will try and open up agianst it?

When I worked at a theater I always would laugh when crap movies would open the same time as a BIG movie.
Spiderman vs Dueces Wild, Who do yout think won?

Razorback
10-13-2004, 12:01 PM
More like 19 May, 2005.

I am sure a few movies will open up around it, and some drama or love story will open against it. However, there is nothing BIG coming out in May of 2005.

marksiwel

What? Star Wars is a Drama and a Love Story. It was a bad joke, I ask for forgiveness.

Also, do you have any plans for the release of the Ep3? Are you going to dress up? Wait in line? Break into Skywalker Ranch and hold Lucas Hostage?

Razorback
10-13-2004, 12:41 PM
I will most likely be there at the midnight showing. I am working on getting into the NYC "premier" but that is still up in the air. I never dress up so I doubt I will do it this time.

You never know. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
