I would perform abortions for hair on my head.

thats the thing tho. They don't even use fetus's anymore for stemcell research. They've found Stem Cells in the ambilicle cords. Since that discovery, there should be nothing wrong with Stem Cell Research. BEcause alls they do si throw the ambilical cord away. I would know, my mothers a nurse. They don't keep the ambilical cord for anything. So its like.. Why waste it?

Baldness and Alzeimers or whatever. I did a huge research thing on it last symmester. So I am at least somewhat up to date on this shizzle.

Still... I would kill babies for hair.

Why are Republicans always sternly against stem cell research? Aren't they interested in bringing Strom Thurman back to life?

Hey you dont want to mess with the dark power that is Strom Thurman. Also the Republicans want Nixon back, because nothing can stop zombie Nixon

Well.. According to Futurama, Nixon's reign starts in about 1000 years from now, when he obtains that Giant Robot body, and starts wrecking up the place. So I guess Storm Thurman may have his shot now...

I'm a Republican and I am not against Stem Cell research.

Don't be ridiculous! Nobody is allowed to have political views different than those of their party leader. Hence, you are against stem-cell research...and don't forget it.

Okay, then I am an Independant who votes primarily Republican, yet I do have some views that lean a bit to the Liberal side (i.e. stem cell research).

What the fuck is an "Independent"?

I'm not sure if I am a liberal conservative or a conservative liberal. I'm a tough call since I'm pro death penalty and pro choice. I haven't made up my mind on stem cell research yet.

If it can cure RB's baldness, then I think we should all be for it.

Oh yeah? Well I'm a liberally conservative liberal who sometimes votes democrat and sometimes leans to the moderately independent conservative republican side in some elections.

Stem cells can be acquired from your own body. There was a report on the news a few weeks ago about this doctor who gave himself a liposuction and used the stem cells acquired from it for studies. He called it "using your own body to heal your own body".

Seemed like a good middle ground on which most people could agree on. No different than transplanting hair from your own body I guess.

But if RB had hair, then RB wouldn't need hair...an outside donor is needed.

Well I.. am Nothing. Therefore I can agree/disagree with whatever I feel like. How do you lIke them apples.

I would call that consistent. You are pro-death for the guilty and innocent. I am against the death penalty and against abortion (past the second trimester). I am pro-life for the guilty and innocent.

Now if only it could give us rock-hard erections that last for 48 hours. Then no one in our government would oppose it.

And also no one would be able to get any work done.

Good grief man, that is one of the most sanctimonious, wreched things I have ever read. That kind of "more moral than you" crap is just sad. It is that kind of bullshit that keeps a true discussion of politics and ethics almost impossible these days. Just because someone has done some soul searching and came to a different place than you did on an issue, does not mean that they are all "kill them all and let God (or lack thereof) sort them out". It just means that they are not willing to eat the spoon-fed pablam that is fed to us by our respective party lines. The U.S. and hell the World will never be united unless we are able to at least attempt to see the other side and not shoot pissy little pre-thought-out comments.

[/ QUOTE ] What is it with conservatives always wanting to kill babies? You all are anti abortion, but want to kill babies for every damn thing. Vote down solar power plants in favor of machines that mash babies into fuel. There's a drought? Sacrifice some babies to the rain gods! But an abortion? Noooooooooo! What? You want 'em to see it coming?

I wasn't judging her morality. You are overreacting. It was more tongue planted firmly in cheek.

I am a liberal... and I believe that mashing babies for hair is cool.

And there's a certain irony in mashing babies for hair since they have none. That amuses me.

You obviously didn't read the thread.
