So is everyone aware of it? Anyone go out and play it? If so what do you have? Had any problems with the law?

I like Airsoft but prefer paintball. The Airsoft guns look very real but in gaming situations I find that the paintball rounds are much more accurate. I can't tell you which one hurts more since I have been wounded badly by both. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I find that paintball is more accurate due to the Ball being heavier and bigger, and the fact you can see what you just shot due to the paint and all
While airsoft the ball is a bb thus smaller requiring more skill, and it fires so fast you cant see where it went.
Also what kind of Airsoft gun did you fire? an Fancy Eletric Rifle, a Cheap Spring or a gas gun?
Oh yeah one last thing, are the laws also pretty strict in NJ about gun and fake gun ownership, due to the strict laws in NY?

I used an electric M4 Carbine.
I am not sure what the laws are like here now (I have not kept up since my last Airsoft game) but when I bought my first gun they could not be purchased without the big orange paintjob on the front of the barrel.
There are no laws against owning paintball weapons though.

The expensive airsoft guns are very accurate. Some of them run into the $1,000s. I have a Desert Eagle replica and a cheap electric one. I don't play airsoft. I just play with the guns. Fun.
