Health India > Sydney, Aug 17 : An Australian state funded study has revealed that pornography is actually good for people as it makes them more positive about their bodies and even makes marriages stronger!

According to the Australian, the surveyors asked more than 1,000 porn users about the impact of porn on their lives.

More than 90 percent of regular porn users replied that watching porn had made them more attentive to their partners, which in turn made their relationships better. The researchers also found that porn often made people more accepting of their sexuality.

The research, which has come close on the heels of Australian authorities banning access to porn on the internet, a move that they claim will protect children, says that forcefully banning pornography will just end up causing more problems.

"The surprising finding was that pornography is actually good for you in many ways. When you look at people who are using it in everyday life, over 90 per cent report it has had a very positive effect," the report quoted Alan McKee, the lead researcher as saying.

"It teaches people to be more relaxed about their sexuality and marriages were healthier, while porn makes people think about another person's pleasure and made them less judgmental about body shapes. The more we try and turn porn into something that's seen to be bad and has to be kept away from families, the more problems we might be causing for ourselves," McKee added. (ANI)

So what about single people watching porn? It seems that the positive effects only kick in if you have a partner.

Well, you may have a point. But I have something even better to cheer you up than porn. My mom wanted me to tell you that she was in Portillo's the other day and they have a flyer announcing their new location in...duh duh dunnnnn....L.A.

Denyse got to meet the Italian Beef, and you both can go together! /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

How has that been working out for you? Does it work? And why the number 21? Why not 101? Would it not increases the chance that you do not get prostate cancer? Is there some secret meaning behind 21? Is it because 21 is the legal drinking age? Is it because at 21 I an shave a percentage off my car insurance? Is it cause I turn 21 next year? Why is next year so far away?

Oh you poor person. Over here 18 is the legal drinking age. But there aren't too many people I know that abide by it. Even my brother, who is only 14, doesn't follow it. I guess that gives a really bad stereotype to you Americans about Aussies hey?

<font color="purple">While working at the video store, I had to number and box, no joke, 75 adult movies and I still had 25 dvds left to number and 25 videos to number. My boss was telling me that they make the most profit out of the adult section. We have a large variety. Its insane really.</font color>

I rented from the adult section once -- yes, seriously only once -- and I was suprised at how many videos were rented out. I was at that particular video store all the time, sometimes for hours on end, and I never once saw anyone go in the adult room. Who are these crafty ninja perv renters?!

...and why haven't they discovered the internet like normal pervs? Like me.

<font color="purple">Many sites, from what I hear, are now pay sites...so, instead of paying the 20 bucks a month, they come and get movies at the local store to rent.

We offer four days, three nights for $3 and one week ones for $2.50.

Saturday some guy came in and rented 6 porn movies. And I looked at him and he goes, 'Yes I know a little much, but I need to keep my hands occupied.'</font color>

Wait, wait, wait. I can rent a movie for four days for $3, or rent it for seven days for $250? I bet you don't have many takers on the week-long rentals, eh?
