<font color="red"> When will this long over due sequel be out. everyone has been waiting now like 4 years and I have seen "Vulgar" too.It was good in the way it pushed the envelope way past it's boundries and I think it was good movie in a way... But back too clerks 2 is there really going to be an clerks 2 at all or is it beening made as we speak everybody who know. There's gonna be an animated CLERKS flick, that much is known, but beyond that, you gotta wait and see.

Kevin Smith started writing the script for Clerks 2 : Hardly Clerking, but eventually turned it into Jay and Silent Bob Strike back (as revealed on some DVD commentary somewhere).

In the latest Jersey Girl diary article, Kevin said that he is still working on the script for "Cerks 2:Sell Out." Once he finishes the script, it will be up to the animators. There is no set realease date.

Actually, he last said (after the JG diary) that they are currently doing flash animation tests for Clerks TAM and after that it's just a matter of Jay's ability to do the project/stay sober.
