according to http://www.theboondocksaints.com/sequel.htm "Production of the sequel has not started yet. Once things get kicked into high gear this page will bring you the latest news on "All Saints Day", so stay tuned."

It's an okay movie. The director needs a little bit more experience, but overall it was decent. I'd recommend it.

Decent? That movie landed in my top five.

You had to admit the filmmaking was a little rough around the edges. The dialogue was great, but it moved a bit awkwardly at times.
"I can't walk to the store to get cigarettes without running into five guys you f***ed!" That was one of my fave lines.

Whenever anyone asks me to suggest a movie to watch, my answer will always be Boondock Saints. Great movie.

Is it true? Has the prodigal son returned?

Well, with all the Biblical imagery from the movie, I can see where we come to that conclusion.

Rocco was my favorite(although Norman Reedus enduced much drooling). My favorite line by far:
"We could kill everyone."

I must say that I was let down by boondock saints. I thought the action scenes were corny but that is just because I hate slow motion-ness. Plus I thought they were just trying to milk the fact that they were Irish. Everybody told me "Your irish dude, you'll love this" I am, but I didn't. I don't want to come off sounding like one of those annoying internet dorks that uses these forums to just bitch about movies, but Boondock Saints is one of those that sticks out in my mind because it was a let-down.
don't slow down the gun seens and make them seem dramatic. Just shot people and let them bleed, blood onthe camera bleeding.
isn't the sequel called "all-saints day"?

[/ QUOTE ] I don't really know about the movie. The only time I have seen any of it is when some idiot brought it to a bachelor party to put on after the girly left. It didn't go over well. We were all pretty drunk by then, so I tuned out pretty quickly. I was referring to you as the prodigal son.

Boondock didn't let me down as a whole, but there was one part of it that did. My friends kept saying "The cat scene was sick" and "The cat scene was disgusting." But it was one shot(no pun intended) of a cat against a wall. It wasn't as bad as I had hoped.

I loved this movie. I didn't think it was a let down at all. I thought the cat scene was [censored] hilarious. Especially when they clean it up by putting a newspaper over it.

Well, the scene was ok, I was just pointing out how all my friends had totally overreacted to it.
