That would be "Survivor"! It's even printed on the drums in the ad. Sheesh, what rock do you live under?

Is it just me or are our newbies becoming simultaneously more verbose, and infinitely more obtuse?

The greatest commerical ever (imho) is an ad for orange juice.

In a normal kitchen:
Mom: Drink your OJ, Billy.
Billy: I don't do anything unless Robert Loggia tells me too.

Robert Loggia appears in the kitchen.
Robert: Drink your Oj kid.
Billy: Wow! Robert Loggia!
continues on with info about OJ.

Best commerical ever.

I googled it and only found references to it and other people looking for it.

The Pims adverts in the UK are a blast! Some smiling Rah in a tweed jacket dancing to Adam and the Ants 'Prince Charming'. Really funny stuff.

"Ten of you, one of me? I make that Pims o'clock!" /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

That commercial did the rounds by email down here and it cracked us all up! One of my co-workers name is Glen and everytime he walked past, everyone would start GLEN! GLEN! GLEN! GLEN! Lucky for him, it got old pretty quickly. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

I think Dairy Queen has some of the funniest spots on the tube right now. The guy setting the office on fire with his breath and the blindfolded woman running into the wall.
I guess Kurt Cobain wanted to be like me...easily amused. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

I was always a fan of the Pets.com commercials with the sock puppet. That puppet rocked ass.

My current favorite is the six flags commercial with the dancing old guy. He rules.

we all cant forget the spectacular super bowl commercials. i think one of the better super bowl commercials in the past is the pepsi commercial with bob dole. the old fart dose a flip! with of course the great boost of confidence from 2 beutiful young ladies...but as far as regular T.V. goes, i enjoyed the bud light/weiser (cant remember) commercial where the guy goes to get the girl a beer and it sprays all over her those were always a good laugh.

I forget I think it was Reanult or Purgeot or someone, and basically the old guy french guy would lend his car to his daughter, ensure some meeting by the end of the advert
where he'd say "Nicole" and she'd respond "papa"

Estelle (or is it Estella) Warren was soo hot back then.

Hmmm? I think we get different ads on this side of the pond.

...And Estella Warren is STILL HOT !

Anyways we have some decent Jack in the Box ads here. My favorite of the series plays out like a "Cops" episode where the perp said, Jack should change the name of his restaurants to crap in the box. It's all shaky cam as Jack chases the man through his own house and into the backyard, tackles, and force feeds him one his burgers.

Bud Light did these radio ads with Charleton Heston ( or someone who sounds just like him ) . It would always be someone telling a story about how they got a Bud Light . And Heston would narrate, interrupting the story the whole time ..."He Got the Bud Light !!!!"

Those were great.

Those ads are pretty good, I like heston, but i'm not really into Bud Light, so they leave me torn, TORN LIKE AN OLD SWEATER!

" NO No NOOOOOOO! "

My co-workers would get pissed at me because whenever one of those ads came on. I would stop what I was doing and just, tune in. I would just drop things and go where the radio was... ?

I think that besides a lot of the Geico commercials, Ameriquest has had some really funny ones, and this has got to be one of the best of them.

Not sure if this has been posted already:

when these came out, I slept a little better knowing my sense of humour was not singular.
