AK, funniest comic reviewer ever?

Does anyone else laugh until they hurt when they read this guy's column every week? Why isn't he writing for the Daily Show or something? Also, what kinds of comics do you guys read?

Man, I don't even read comics that much, and I still make sure not to miss TITLE BOUT. The guy cracks me up, even when I don't know jack about the writer or artist he's discussing.

Yes, his column is by far the most "out there". I defenitely make sure to read it and if you skip any part of it you'll be lost further down when he references some bizarre remark he made earlier.

i know, i try to read it every week, and if for some reason i'm to busy at work(which is where i do must of my surfing) to read it. i print it out and take the 11 pages of my offices printer paper home to read it.

And a big shout out thanks to AK for turning me on to McCafferey's #10. It's awesome, who would have thought that a site called Poop Shoot would point ya too some kickass literature?

Title Bout's my favorite column and has been ever since MPS started. I don't always find time to read all of his freakishly lengthy diatribes, but I can catch up on backlogs after finals. I like that someone can get by with such a great column not by their observance, wit, tact, or any comedic skills whatsoever, but by simply being an exceptionally sick and twisted individual. AK, you're a beacon of hope to us all.

I read a lot of different comics, mostly independents/Fantagraphics/etc but a few Marvel & DC titles too.

Hey, thanks for all the kind words everybody.

How do you change your "nicknames" on this thing? I didn't know what to put, and then I put "titleboutguy" but that's just stupid sounding, so I tried to click stop before it loaded, but it was too late, and now my name is stupid-sounding.

Also: I'm pretty happy with the Mcsweeneys. A couple stories- I didn't like the one in Egypt so much, but I liked Hornby and I liked Aimee Bender. I'm still working my way through it. Apparently, their new magazine, the Believer, has come out- the Salon review was tough on it.
