Dare we ask what some of the worst ideas were?
My Dinner with Amazo?
The Fighting Plunger?
Flatu-Lance and the Knights of the Brownstar?
And please please PLEASE tell me somebody tried to pitch something clearly owned by somebody else.
"What if CSI had to take down the Riddler?"
"So you read Gotham Central?"
"Yeah?"
"And DC turned you down?"
"They said they liked the idea, but they just had the Riddler in Hush."
"Good point. Throw in Wolverine and ROM, and we can talk. I'll need a complete script by the end of the con or no deal."
"Uhhhhh... who's ROM?"

Hey! Do I recognize those girls? Seems I have a picture of the same cute little children sitting on the floor of the Long Beach con playing with Star Wars figures with me. Either that, or they bear a striking resemblance to a certain Ms. D's godchildren...
But who is that hottie they ditched me for in the middle? He looks so familiar.

He's that badass standing behind them in the top left corner of the picture. He threatened to kick them if they didn't make the picture cute.

Out of curiosity, anyone at the con attend the Serenity panel? Fangirl? If you did, I want the dish.

I need to get the photos developed and they may not be very good, but the panel was great. they showed the teaser twice and the entire cast was there. Nathan was very funny as was Joss. Nothing really revealed (typical Joss). The trailer looks good. It looks like we seem more about Onara's companion training and River's assassin tendenacies and I think I caught a glimpse of a Reaver. It pretty much kicked ass. They are all having a lot of fun on set.

Hmm, I didn't realize that Chris was so short. Those girls will be towering over him in a coupla years.

Yeah, I was suprised when I met him also. I didn't know Chris didn't have legs below the knees. But it was sort of fun. You can pick him up, put him in your backpack, and carry him around like Dorf. And I did...
i havent had the time or the luxury to go to conventions like i used to. maybe thats whats missing in my life. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

As soon as I develop my photos, I'll post more. Although, we may have resurrect the cute guy thread since (if they came out) I have photos from the Firefly panel as well as a pic of Matt Fraction.

The boys do a good show. The always get some good names. I might do an episode in the future for now, I am merely confined to print on the site.
