Didn't your country invent and spread English throughout the world? You might consider using it.
Oh, why can't the English teach their children how to speak?

The old " the Americans corrupted us" excuse.

The sad fact of it is that American culture is taking over. Unfortunately for Britain it isn't the positive aspects.

well you have Zen for starters. If that isn't a positive aspect of the USA then i don't know what is. Oh yeah, and you don't have France next to you. Just Canada. Which I suppose is similar.

Not quite similiar, closer to identicle. All of my favorite stores from the US of A have invaded my country, and now it's no fun shopping in the states anymore. All I've got now is Super Target, otherwise, we have everything America does.
Also, on a side note, Coors is looking at buying Molson. When that happens, people are going to cry, because then all major 'Canadian' beers will be owned by people who aren't Canadians. But then I'm gonna laugh, because 'I'm such a trooper.'

No, he was saying Canada is similar to France. I think he was insulting Canada, as we all know that no one like France.

This guy walks into the doctor's office and says.."I think I have a chronic Spained ankle."
The doctor replies, "Don't you mean sprained?"
"Nope" the guy says. "I meant Spained. It is weak and collapses easily."
NOTE: I wish I could take credit for that joke, but I got it from a political cartoon.

How did they name Canada? They pulled 3 consonants out of a bag. C, eh? N, eh? D, eh?

Don't tell me about American stores. Here in Australia, half of what we have here has some sort of American connection to it. It's crazy. You should see how many hardcore derro's there are here. The amount of kids in high school dressing up like Eminem on the weekend is shocking! I can't stand it!

I think that is because not only did she start this thread on the subject, she started another thread on Roswell High, and she just about said the same as that thread in a post in the "Look at the Girly Man" thread. I replied to the message she left in the girly man thread, so I figured I didn't have to stay on topic on this one and the third one.
