I've seen a couple of posts where people talk about the worst movie ever, I just wanted to know what people thought was, or is the best movie ever /forums/images/icons/confused.gif

Citizen Kane... I've read review after review of the awesomeness of this movie but not yet have dared to witness it myself. My fear is that this movie may have been awesome back in the day but old movies have can have the problem of losing face with newer movies filled with action, suspense, effects, not to mention color... I don't really see how the movie can be that great of a movie (take into great consideraton that I have not acctually seen this movie) What movies are out there?

You obviously have not seen Citizen Kane to doubt it is the best movie ever. Still stands up today. [censored] your explosions. If Hollywood made more movies this good I'd have no reason to complain.

It's not just opinion that makes Kane the best movie ever. Some scientists actually did long hours of testing, and it was the only film that truly held up to the strenuous tests. To put it in perspective, Krush Groove didn't make it through the first round.

ok can we drop citizen Kane for a minute, obviously there are other movies out there that are great, why else would you all continue watching movies if the greatest and only movie you can speak highly of was made some 30-40 years ago

Ok STOP! No more Citzen Cane talk. Its like asking whats the Best book ever. The Answer, THe Bible. It infulenced more people, books, plays, wars and movies (matrix) than any other book in histroy.

So Citzen KANE is the bible of films. We got it. But other than Citzen Kane what else is good.

I would say, Fight Club was one of the better films in the past 10 years.

The grauate was also very good.

Aimele (Spelling?) was a great film.

Metroplisis (spelling!) with all the robots and wacky sh*t. Was great also.

You are omitted from this conversation for thinking that Citizen Kane was made in 1960.

You asked a question and it was answered. You didn't like the answer. Get used to disappointment.

Citizen Kane was released 62 years ago... and nothing has bettered it yet. Perhaps you should have just told us what movie you think is the best and then we can all agree and then you won't get so upset by the answer.

Baby was. Then again I did like Scary and Sporty looked great when she got out of the tracksuit. And Geri when she had breasts. And I did like posh b4 she believed her own hype.

Oh there are so many to pick from but one of my favorite movies was Dracula. Kane was a great movie tho.

Actually, for a time my favorite WAS Posh, but she got married and preggers, then put out one of the weakest solo-Spice albums. Based on post-Spice I gotta go with Sporty. Baby's still fine, tho...

Oh, and Blues Brothers.

I have a problem with that gap in the side of Sporty's teeth. It seems like she goes out of her way to show that as much as possible. She is my least favorite aside from Scary. Gotta go with Baby.

The Best movie ever? The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas

The only movie I could think of that has the word "Best" and "Whorehouse" together in the same title. Therefore, it must be the best.

I can think of a few more with 'Best' and 'whorehouse' in however unless you are shopping in 'special ' shops you will not find them /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif

Hmmmm...You have a good point there. I always stay in the front room at my video store.

Do the movies you are thinking of have Dolly Parton singing "I Will Always Love You" to Burt Reynolds? That would be hot.
