Bubba Ho-Tep - I saw this movie about to weeks ago. It was a lot different from what I thought it would be, but it was still great.

Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2 - I love Kill Bill Vol. 1. It is on my list of movies that I could watch 300 times and never get sick of. I have yet to see Vol. 2, though.

The new View Askew Board - Great design. I like the REDS system so you can tell when someone important is lurking.

Shrek 2 - Love the movie parodies. A lot of people keep saaying that this is better then the first but it is not. It has lost the campy, road-trip feel of the original.

Harry Potter 3 - Great. Way better then the first two. I wish Cuaron was directing the fourth.

Jersey Girl - One of Kevin's best movies. For me, it ranks number 2 right under Amy. I love the Sweeney Todd sequence.

Garfield sucked. I really only went to see it cause of Bill Murray and he was the only good part of the movie.

I want really bad to see Napoleon Dynamite. But since I am forced to live in Indiana, I'll have to wait till it's on DVD.

I can't wait till September. September is DVD Month this year. Star Wars, Clerks X, Mr. Show 4, Jersey Girl. Fuck, I'm gonna go broke.

Oh, and, one more thing. 2000, biotches!

I liked Volume 2 a lot more. However, I could not watch either volume more than a few times.

I agree 100%.

While I liked the second movie a lot more than the first, this was the first HP movie that made me WANT to pay attention. I loved it.

When I see the director's cut I will put it on my list of favorite Smith movies. It was probably one of the badly reviewed (considered) movies I have seen in a long time. How could critics miss how well made this movie is? With all of the babbling about a "formula" they sure missed the wonderful writing and performances.

Welcome back, li'l Code 6. Glad things're okay.

>Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2 - I love Kill Bill Vol. 1. It is on my list of movies that I could watch 300 times and never get sick of. I have yet to see Vol. 2, though.

You gotta see Vol. 2, too. It's a totally different movie than Vol. 1 but also great. My favorite movies of the past year, easily.

>The new View Askew Board - Great design. I like the REDS system so you can tell when someone important is lurking.

As a RED over there, I can tell you that we're really not that important.

>Shrek 2 - Love the movie parodies. A lot of people keep saaying that this is better then the first but it is not. It has lost the campy, road-trip feel of the original.

Plus that fairy godmother is awful. But Puss in Boots was great.

>Harry Potter 3 - Great. Way better then the first two. I wish Cuaron was directing the fourth.

Concur on both sentiments.

>I can't wait till September. September is DVD Month this year. Star Wars, Clerks X, Mr. Show 4, Jersey Girl. Fuck, I'm gonna go broke.

Not to mention Magnum P.I. Season 1.

The DVD to get is Simpsons Season 4. I just went through the second disc, all of the episodes are classics that haven't aged a bit, still as funny as when they first aired. It matches my long held opinion that seasons 4-11 are the best of the series.

The other DVD to get will be the recut Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Ordeal, which will combine the masterful story telling of Vol. 2 with the eyecandy of Vol. 1. I thought this cut debuted at Cannes but I haven't heard anything about it.

And Potter 3 rocked. Perhaps Cuaron can take over the franchise after a studio executive meeting in which they show that Columbus was directly responsible for 'Bicentenial Man'.

I completely agree, what a great show! A true classic.
Has anyone seen the commercial for "Hawai'i"? It looks like it's trying to rip off Magnum (they even have a red convertible they drive around)only "hip it up" for the kids. Chris please tell me you'll be doing a pilot review for this.

Well ask and you shall recieve, right? Nice to know that I won't have to waste my time with Hawaii.

I the producers really wanted to use the Hawaii studio for something, why not just update Hawaii 5-0. It's got name recognition, but enough time as passed that the show is no longer fresh in anyone's mind. I haven't even seen it in syndicated re-runs for years. Get the Law and Order guy, or the CSI guys to produce, heavy on mystery, light on flash, it would work.

Oh, one more thing

Tenacious D: I got their CD and DVD and they are frickin' hilarious. I suggest that everyone rent(or buy) the DVD.

Tenacious D's HBO series, while too short, was awesome.

I agree with this, has anyone heard an update to the D movie they were talking about making?

The Pick of Destiny? Liam Lynch is suppoeed to be directing. It was being written last I heard, but that was some time ago.

This movie has been in development hell for as long as I can remember. My friend knows one of their agents. I heard about the script when Kevin was casting Jay & Silent Bob Strikes Back and it had already been around prior to that.

Didn't seem like enough to start a new topic, so this seems as good a place as any:

Is anybody else digging the new Cure song as much as me? I've never really been much of a Cure fan, but this is a damn cool song. My wife likes the Cure alot more than me, so I may buy the album this weekend for "her"!

Eurotrip - It wasn't bad. It was like Road Trip, only in a different country.

The Butterfly Effect - Wow, this was a really good movie. It was a lot better than I expected it to be.
