about 9 months ago, I had a share your talents thread.

I wanted to share mine again, this time in song.

This theme (http://www.s94930482.onlinehome.us/s2.mp3)may be familiar to some old school gamers, but the twist on the theme is mine.

Let me know what you think, and share some of your heart with the rest of the group.

I don't recognize it, but that's awesome. Did you do the whole thing?

I didn't know it either but I'm guess it was a nes or snes RPG just from the style of the music.

Yeah, my first assumption was a Zelda game I hadn't played.

Yes, I did do the whole thing. I was sitting today and just wanted to do music, so I took out the instruments and keyboards.

The original theme was from an old Ultima game for the PC, but I just felt this longing inside of me, so I redid it totally.

Hey, cool! Give us the low-down on the equipment and/or software that you used. Also, how do the rest of us post our home-studio master-works? /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I use a combination of Reason and Pro Tools, and I have a buttload of instruments.

A Lot of my time was taking digital samples of instruments, and making midi compatible instruments.

I have the protools soundboard, and some studio equipment.

Feel free to share your stuff too! I really like hearing peoples works, and talking about this.

I finally retired my trusty Tascam cassette 4-track. Now, I'm just starting to get familiar with computer-based recording. I have a basic ProTools LE set-up, with the MBox as my audio interface. I mostly play guitar and bass, but I definitely hope to get some sort of midi set-up going in the future. I'll probably end-up going the soft-synth route, assuming my computer is up to it.
