Ryall is right, we need more comic book talk on these boards. So, what are some of your favorites?

In no particular order:

1. Blankets by Craig Thompson
2. Daredevil: Born Again by Frank Miller
3. Batman: Return of the Dark Knight by Frank Miller
4. V for Vengence by Alan Moore
5. Top Ten by Alan Moore (both trades equally)
6. Three Fingers by Rich Koslowski
7. Kingdom Come by Mark Waid
8. Daredevil: Guardian Devil by Kevin Smith (shock!)
9. Powers: Who Killed retro Girl? by Brian Michael Bendis
10. Marvels by Kurt Busiek

Those just flowed off the top of my head as the ones I read over and over again.

I read Battle Pope last night, lots of fun. Great "tough ass" lines.

Possibly my all time favorite series is Starman. From beginning to end I just loved it. Seeing Identity Crisis open in Opal let me know right off I was going to enjoy the ride.

Gawd, there's just so many

Certainly not my favourite by any means but I got Clerks for my birthday and I totally like the second christmas story and the missing funeral scene story.
One I stupidly liked is a Japanese strip made up of a few volumes called 'Dance til tomorrow' anyone who's ever read 'Pulp' will know the story from that.

Geez, this is a hard one. (heh, heh, that's what she said)
Like i have said before, i usually get the monthlys and not the trades, and haven't bought many OGN's. Stupid Being Broke...

But Here Goes:
Miller's Dark Night. Of course.

Teen Titan's: The Judas Contract. Robin To Nightwing, Not to mention that slutty little chick.

I don't remember what it's called but trade of the first 7 issues of Giffin's Justice League. It's classic Giffin.

Hellboy - Unchained Coffin...: This is how Hellboy works best, short storys.

Preacher - gone to texas and The Entire Starman Run
The 2 best monthlys of the 1990's.

As far as OGN's.
I got the Sgt. Rock one that came out not to long ago, and really enjoyed that.

JLA: Tower of Babel by Mark Waid. Awesome storyline. A JLA enemy steals Batman's contingency plans to take out the entire JLA in a matter of hours. *in Guniness commercial voice* Brilliant!

Man did I love that. For years I've argued that the Bat could take them all out, and somebody proved it. It's one of the reasons he's my hero.

The best was the way they took out Batman. So simple. So awesome, yet such a guarantee of death if he catches you.

I agree about Batman. If he has any kind of prep time at all, I don't think there is anyone Batman couldn't beat. Of course, I also have to add the whole 5 trade series of Batman: No Man's Land as well.

Been reading a lot of Strangers in Paradise lately.
Can't remember the name right now, but in the late eighties Charles Vess painted a Spider-Man Graphic novel, I loved the art in that.
I loved "God loves, Man kills".
Just finished reading JLA/Avengers, and ehhhh, could have been better. Perez is let down by a run of the mill script.
Been buying the single issues, but since JMS took over Amazing it has been just that.
Just finished "Fax from Sarajevo" breathtaking, but hard to read.
Well, that was what was at the top of my brain. Can't think clearly after twelve hours of work today.

*edit* Just to finish my thought the Charles Vess book was called "Spirits of the Earth" and the cover looked like this:

That has to be one of my top 3 Spidey pictures of all time. I used to draw that over and over.
