(I Know, theres alreday a thread about this movie, but I know if I posted at the end of it, my questions would go unanswered)
There were a few things I didn't understand here...
1) His son is at the library... Is there only 1 library in all of New York? Seriously, in a city of millions, there is only one library? I live in a city of 800,000 and we have like, 30 libraries.
2) How did the little GPS thing he was carrying know EXACTALLY where the library is?
3) Why was ther esnow ALL AROUND the ship, but none actually ON the ship?
and of course, the question thats really on my mind through all of this...
4) If Storm can control the weather, why didn't the X-Men help out? (bastard mutants)

I think it was understood implicitly that he was at the main branch of the NY Public Library.

Uhhhh- that's what GPS does- it's accurate to within a couple of feet.

There was snow on the ship, just not inside of it.

Storm was having an out-of-body experience whereby she thought she was Catwoman.
Just for the record, I think maybe you (and a lot of other people who didn't like this movie) took it just a little too seriously. It's the cinema equivalent of eye candy- nothing more. My only complaint was that the worst CGI in the movie was the incredibly crappy-looking wolves. Anyone know why they did it that way? Was it a PETA thing?

on the contrary, I never took this movie seriously. Just like most disaster flicks, it's just about how the movie looks. The fact is that there were some things in that movie that just didn't make sence, plain and simple. And as for the GPS, that was my own stupidity at work, I've never used or even seen GPS at work so I really didn't know.
(p.s. Catwoman is gonna bite ass)
