View Full Version : Action Figures you'd like to see!

We have the Jersey series out, and Snake Plissken, Kill Bill, even an Albino Bowler figure exists. What I'd like to know is what figures you would buy if somebody actually made them. This could be based on movies, comics, TV, real life, you name it. This is stuff you might actually buy, whether you normally get toys or not.

I'd buy a "me" action figure. You see, I'm awfully full of myself. I keep telling the wife that I want a shirt with my picture on it, but she won't get me one. A JJ action figure would be kickass. He'd come with both glasses and contacts. Shorts and pants. And pasty white skin.

For Christmas last year, a guy I know gave out shirts with his fifth grade picture on them. It was awesome, and I may rip the idea off next year.

Tough question...hmm...
There is one statue I've always wanted to see which is young Bruce Wayne standing over his parents with head down, eyes up and his little jacket catching the wind like Batman's cape does.
Being the HUGE Firefly fan, I'd go with Firefly action figures. Hoepfully, with the movie they might make some.

A Sleestack. And an Oompa Loompa or two (packaged with the Blueberry'd Violet Beauregard, of course). Jessica Rabbit. The extras from the deleted wedding scene in Jersey Girl. Monkey Man, Detective Boogaloo and Ted Noodleman. And all the Brat-Halla kids, of course. And Stan Lee. And Jon Lovitz as the Critic...no, wait, that would stink. And Col. Steve Austin (with a Bigfoot). A chupacabra. Maximillan from Disney's The Black Hole. Quatto from Total Recall. Andy Garcia's conjoined twin. Willow (from the movie, not from Buffy). Terrax, Galactus' herald. Eugene the Jeep (a good one, I mean). An Iron Man with the nose on the mask. Mrs. Voorhees from the first Friday the 13th. The Elephant Man. John Wayne Bobbitt. Alf and Mrs. Ochmonek. And a Vinnie Vincent Kiss figure.
And that's all I need. I don't need one other thing.
Well, I need one other thing. Steve Martin as "The Jerk."

If I ever stumbled across a Swamper action figure at a store, I would buy TWO (and give one to my mom).

Hey Chris,
I'm nearly positive that there were "Black Hole" toys produced in the '70's, including Maximillian, Old Bob, etc.
I don't know if they ever made a "Bigfoot", but I have a GI Joe-sized Steve Austin with special full-sized healing capsule unit. I think he also featured a plastic girder and "kung-fu grip".
I'd love a Sleestack, particularly if it was the "good" Sleestack whose name I can't remember.

I remember the old Steve Austin figure-you could see through its bionic eye, right? And it had that little rubber patch of skin you could roll up and see the bionics or something? That's all fine and good but I want a McFarlane set with him and the sasquatch. That old one was a little too "Barbie" for me.
As for The Black Hole toys...really? Do they have Ernie Borgnine with the big hole drilled in his chest? That'd be fun (except for Ernie B., I'd imagine). I always loved Maximillian but I wonder if its design has aged as well as I remember it in my head.
Matt1's call for Spaceballs figures is pretty good, too. I'd take a Pizza the Hut if they made it.

Click on the "Focus On" links for more info.
Alas, I don't think Anthony Perkins comes with a blood-splattered book and gaping chest wound. (Did Borgy get it in the chest, too? I can't remember.)
Oh yeah. Call my Steve Austin figure a "Barbie" again, and you and I are gonna have a serious situation. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Oh god, I knew Matt1 was cool. Do you know how BAD I want Spaceball figures! And I am a little disapointed at both you and Chris...this was the perfect time to quote:
"Did you see anything?"
"No sir, I did NOT see you playing with your dolls again!"
And just for good measure, my monthly new favorite Spaceballs quote:
Dark Helmet: "Prepare for Metamorphosis! Are you ready Kafka?" /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Thundercats, the original run or a New Mcfarlane take to coincide with the comics I've seen around.
Silent hill Figurines, specifically Harry, Heather, Pyramid head, cancers, faceless nurse and the zombie dogs
Primal: Human Jen and Scree the Gargoyle Double pack.
Onimusha: Samanosuke, Jubei, Jean Reno, Oyu, kaede, Nobunaga and the green zombies with straw hats.
Also like to see a thing series, maybe various crew members that have ca be transformed manually. or just open up to reveal thing-like ailments.
And just for show sake I'd like Doc Brown Driving the Deloran with marty skitchen on the back with the hoverboard, that would look kickass although not really relevant to anything from the film.

Hmm...that's equal parts cool and ridiculous, isn't it? And now that I see it, I vaguely remember it--nice find.
And you may be right, I'm probably totally mis-remembering who got the whirring razor in the chest in The Black Hole. Probably been 20 years or more since I've seen it.

Okay, here are the one's I would like to see:
Oompa Loompas (I would send one to my sister, as she is afraid of them. I don't know why, but she has been since she was a kid.)
Spaceballs
Spiderman/Green Goblin (I used to have an original of the comic where Spidey kills the Green Goblin and I also had the Green Goblin action figure. Alas, my mom trashed them when I went off to basic training.)
The Crow
Quest for Fire (Only if the action figures are posable so you can re-enact the sex scenes)
Okay, that last one was just a joke.

Hell will not freeze hard enough for this figure to come out. But at least you can take one of your Ace figures and play like it is Vinnie from the "I Love It Loud" video. Then you can pretend it is Tommy Thayer.
And as for a JJ figure, can I be a variant? Sounds like I would have the same accessories. But maybe we could add something more Oregon to the mix like a bag of weed with the "Blazers" logo on it. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

There's a Spidey/Goblin figure out right now, actually. Ask at your local comic book store!
Seeing the Spaceballs fanbase, what about Blazing Saddles?
Also, Big Lebowski or Office Space grab anyone? Breakfast Club? Marvel New Universe? Actually, skip that last one...

Oooh! Now, Lebowski figures I would buy! They would have to make a separate "Dude," "His Dudeness," "Duder," and "El Duderino (if you're not into the whole brevity thing)." Jelly sandals, milk moustache, J, and caucasian.

My mom did the same thing. She came to regret it on her own since then, realizing how valuable they became. I had a metric ton of Star Wars toys.

HAHAHA! What a crack up! Although would work better the other way around - I think a lot of us would like to strangle Lucas for some of his recent changes to the 'originals'! /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
