I officially am no longer employed. My four plus years of employment at 'the world's largest auction site' are over. Yeay for me! Yeay for me! Time to devote myself full-time to educational activities.
sorry, just had to share that.

It's good. I couldn't take another minute of corporate life.

All I can think of when I read the subject line is Val Kilmer in Top Gun.

It is a good thing. When I lost my last kickass job I went back to school. It was so much fun to go back in my 30's and pretend I was 18. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

I sort of know the feeling. I'm back in an office for the 40 hr gig, but I'd picked up a retail job in the interim. Most of the staff is in their early 20's, and those of us who aren't behave like we are.
Now I work both, and it's not at all a chore to do the side job because it's like I'm young again, only it's not my only job this time, it's extra cash. Bonus!

I liked being a blue-collar guy... it fits for me. I should have just remained a high-school dropout working at a pizzeria. I wouldn't owe $80,000. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Ever thought of going on the game? A nice boy like you should fetch quite a penny.

No, but the $5000 you'd owe would FEEL like $80,000.

You would think so... but I made good money as a blue-collar worker. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
