View Full Version : The Quote Game
ratm1966

Okay, it has been ages since we did the "Quote Game", so I will start it off with an easy one.
It's been two presidential elections since I'd had a hard-on that big.
Okay, guess away!
Oh, and the quotes need to be from movies. And as a reminder, you can't post a quote until an answer to a quote has been identified as being correct. Then that person can post a new quote.
ratm1966
05-31-2004, 09:20 PM
You mean no one knows which movie this quote came from? And to think I thought I was making it easy to start things out.
Here is the quote again......
It's been two presidential elections since I'd had a hard-on that big.
in_diana_jones
05-31-2004, 09:22 PM
Bubba Ho-Tep
Here's the new quote: "Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. Your normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop-heart. Make the bastard chase you. He will follow."
ratm1966
05-31-2004, 09:24 PM
Yup....it is your turn to post a quote now.
in_diana_jones
05-31-2004, 09:26 PM
Yeah, sorry about that. I edited.
ratm1966
05-31-2004, 09:29 PM
It's not Super Troopers is it?
in_diana_jones
05-31-2004, 09:30 PM
Negative.
Jason_Brown
05-31-2004, 09:45 PM
"Fear and Loathing", baby!
New quote: "John big-booty!"
DarthMaulRat
05-31-2004, 10:21 PM
I'll keep the topic alive by saying that I have no idea. It isn't from the trailer for that hilarious 'White Girls' movie that I've been looking forward to so much, is it? That movie could be the biggest thing since 'Marci X'.
ratm1966
05-31-2004, 10:23 PM
I haven't a clue either.
Jason_Brown
05-31-2004, 10:32 PM
Nah. It's from a favorite farce from the '80's.
ratm1966
05-31-2004, 10:35 PM
The Adventures of Bakaroo Bonzai Across the 8th Dimension
Your quote was actually a name of a character from the movie. However, I guess it could also be a quote since someone in the movie was bound to say his name.
That movie a very funny. I really like watching and wish I had actually owned it. It is on my list of mocies to buy in the near future.
I was actually contemplating using a quote from that movie first, but decided it might be just a bit too obscure for people to get.
Jason_Brown
05-31-2004, 10:44 PM
Yes, but where is your response quote? /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
ratm1966
05-31-2004, 10:51 PM
A person is supposed to wait until their answer has been verified as being correct by the person who posted the quote.
Now that you verified I was correct, I will post a new quote. Here it is......
"And I say I'm dead and I move."
That was from "The Crow".
ratm1966
05-31-2004, 10:57 PM
Damn, I guess that one was too easy. I guess I shouldn't have chosen a quote from one of the, if not the, best movie ever made.
It is your turn next Jim.
Yay! I won! /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
Ok, here's one:
"...One hundred dollars in gold, nine packs of chewin' gum, one issue of prophylactics, three lipsticks, three pair of nylon stockings... Shoot, a feller could have a pretty good time in Vegas with all that stuff!"
ratm1966
05-31-2004, 11:18 PM
I don't think it is a totally correct quote, but I know what movie it was from.
Who can ever forget Slim Pickens in Dr Strangelove.
You are correct!
Yeah, I think I'm a little off on that one.
Your turn /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Nope, not Fear and Loathing.
ratm1966
06-01-2004, 08:34 AM
Okay, here is a clue. The quote is from a scene that takes place in a comic book store.
I am off to the gym, so I will check back in about 1 1/2 - 2 hours to see if anyone has guessed it correctly.
Mighty_Wingman
06-01-2004, 08:50 AM
" Mystery Men ? "
Note: if this is correct, go on without me I'm going out of town till Thursday.
ps. I'm glad you revived this game.
ratm1966
06-01-2004, 10:10 AM
Nope, not Mystery Men.
I was bored yesterday, and the game just popped into my head, so I said what the hell.
Okay, clue #2.......The Coreys are in it.
jjcourtright
06-01-2004, 11:34 AM
Hmm, comic book store, the Coreys...I don't recognize the quote, but I'll go with The Lost Boys
