What would you like to see in the final FRIENDS?

I'd like two things:

1. I'd like NBC to stop treating the show's finale like the Most Important Event in Television History when we all know the Scrube season finale will be much more entertaining.

2. I'd like to see the show's writers make an effort to deliver a funny show instead of coasting like they've done for the past two or three seasons. But since we already know this final episode consists of a frantic Ross rushing to the airport to stop Rachel from flying away, I guess "originality" and "creativity" aren't exactly their top priorities.

I'd like to see Monica, Rachel and Phoebe get into a good ol' fashioned cat fight over which olive oil is best...and of course, they wind up fighting in the olive oil. Shirts ripped off...whole nine yards.
Chandler starts smoking, and by shows end, he is face down in a Scarface-esque mountain of blow.
Joey goes nuts, 'cause he feels abandoned, and kills everyone.
Then, his new spin off starts as if nothing ever happened.

I don't even know what has happened in the last few seasons. From the commericials, I gather Phoebe got married to Paul Rudd. Something about Monica and Chandler adopting and that's all I know.

I really don't care that it's airing nor that it will be available on dvd 3 days later.

I'd like to see phoebe go on springer or whateever to confess to whoever she married that shes really a guy.

Chandler and Monica adopt the son of michael duncan clarke, who gorws up and kills them in the spinoff film, the whole eleven yards

Rachel should breaks ross's heart by going to a swinger party hosted by non other than his lebian wife and her lover. She gets accepted into the household, especially for wearing her red cheerleader outfit.

And ross goes off with a mail order bride (special guest appearance by michelle ang)

Oh and as a final scene, Joey could wake up out of bed and say "I just had the wierdest dream about people I don't even know" turns over, spots a total stanger in bed and says "ow you doin."
Again this would remove all knowledge of friends ever existing and leave him open for his new one season show.

I don't really have anything original to say; I pretty much echo your sentiments. They have been coasting for a couple seasons, although the show is pretty funny. I've only caught bits and pieces when it happens to be on, so I could really care less about it. I don't think anyone expects a Cheers style final show, but it will have to be better than Seinfeld. I think it's just going to be filled with campy sentiment to end the era and usher in the DVD sales and Joey spinoff.

I will take the total other track than JJ. I haven't watched in 2 years because of the whole Ross/Rachel thing. I would like for them to have Ross come out of the closet, or kill himself when Rachel leave him.
The Joey, Sammich thing sounds good to me.

You mean the series is ending? Cool. I never really got into watching. I have maybe watched about 5 to 10 episodes, ever, and really probably only watched them because I forgot I was watching another show and stopped there when channel surfing during a commercial.

So, I guess you could say that I really couldn't give a rat's ass what happens in the last episode, as long as it doesn't pre-empt some other show I like to watch.

Hmmm... I once had a huge arguement with a girlfriend becasue I thought Jennifer Aniston was hot. Actually, she broke up with me because of it. And it's not like I said "ooh, that girl is f-i-n-e fine and I wish I could get a little bit of that ass right now." It was like a year before we were even dating and all I said was "Yeah, she's cute" That was seven years ago- about the time I really decided I didn't care for the show. I watch it now and again on reruns and at work if I happen to be switching for TBS or recording the feed. As far as the final episode? Maybe Chandler and Joey will explore the nap thing on a whole new level. And the olive oil thing seemed like a good suggestion. A very good suggestion. But mostly, I just want it to end.

I say bring back the monkey, have him spend a penny on Ross' head, the have Jennifer Aniston get naked. Then I want to see Joey go mad, take out his 9 and kill everyone on the show then kill himself.
