No, there will never be any new movies. The movie industry has decided to do nothing but make stupid remakes of old movies.

ratm,
So true.

Hey spankymonkey, check out the Internet Movie Data Base. You can find it using a search engine . Then type Freddy Krueger into their internal search bar. When you find out about the new Freddy movie, come back and share with rest of us.

Have nice day. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Cousin and girlfriend in the same sentence eh? Did you get lucky? Oh what am I saying, of course you did. What I should have said was, "Was she good?"

Which one, His Cousin or his Girlfriend, or perhaps they are one and the same, or was that implied? am I being stupid about all this?

I believe both President Bush and John Kerry have outlined their proposals on the future of Freddy Krueger on their respective websites.

Bush believes that matters concerning transdimensional dream murderers should be dealt with by the free market and individual families. Recently the Center for Public Integrity has accused the President of having a conflict on interests though, as one of his highest campaign contributors is the National Association of Nightmare Serial Killers (NANSK), of which Dick Cheney was the former President.

Kerry, on the other hand, is for giving sexually active teens access to coffee and no-doze in schools, much to chagrin of many of those on the religious right.

Many analysts believe National policy concerning dream killers will be a decisive issue among undecided voters in swing states such as Ohio and Missouri.

Yeah, I was implying they were one in the same.

...but where does Nader stand on the issue?

Nader reminds us that with proper improvements in the educational system, we might not have to hire serial killers as maintenance men at our school. He also reminds us that there was a less apathetic time in which the parents could band together as a community and reclaim our youth from the boiler rooms, be they beneath schools or in Wall Street offices.

No, but when a door is left open, I sometimes have problems resisting stepping through it. That is one of my flaws. Besides, I think I complimented you in a thread or two tonight.

There's a short vid here (http://www.aintitcool.com/node/40554) reviewing the remake script. Some parts sound positive.

The way they are remaking horror movies I knew it was only a matter of time.

When I was in kindergarten, my sister and I had bunk beds; I had the top bunk. I had a dream that Freddy pulled my sister from the bottom bunk and tore her to shreds. He then kneeled on the bottom bunk, had one hand on each side of the top bunk, and ripped me in half. That night, I fell of the bed onto something, my parents still haven't figured out what, and split my chin in half. Of course I woke up screaming and was rushed to the hospital. Needless to say, the next time I watched Nightmare on Elm Street, I was 22 years old.

Oddly enough, this is one that I don't mind. The franchise went from a child molesting monster that could attack you where you have no say in the matter into a farce with one liners (Freddy playing a video game to kill someone?). I'd like to see this one go back to grass roots scariness.
