Hey! I think thats some movies that have made a second or a third are stupid. Like Jurassic Park the second and third were pretty pointless and really had nothing to do witht he first one! I dont think any sequals have been good? someone please try and prove me wrong... what movie has actually had a good sequal?

lord of the rings and star wars were based on books!! they are sequals but not really cause they were based on books..and ok fine x-men yeah those movies sucks!! they dont connect to eachother in any way it doesnt continue the story really

THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK was based on a screenplay not a book... the screenplay was written so they could make the movie. Hence, IT WAS NOT A BOOK! And it is considered the best sequel of all time.

Besides RB, we know matrix reloaded makes our grade of a fine sequal too (ioho's only though) and revolutions (definitely strictly you and me on this one I think)
what else, final destination 2, uh... terminator 2, aliens, godfather 2, superman 2, far too many to list, but all to many to prove the point of this thread being wrong. many sequals do kick ass., some suck, but that really is a minority.

yeah terminator 2 was good but terminatir 3 i thought was good but it wasnt a good sequal im not basing this on how good the movie is im just basing it on how good it is as a sequal...wether it really fills in the story or not...sometimes there no need for a sequal...like final destination 2 i thought there was reallly no need for a sequal with the first one...and aliens...yeah those movies are awsome!but...what about austin powers? that sequal does suck i mean yeah its good cause its funny but like its always the same story over and over again dr.evil plans to take over the world its that same story in every austin powers movie...so id have to say austin powers is one of the worst sequals ever
