Many, many rock climbing trips. Those are the only plans other than having a fun birthday, although I can predict there will be partying, ogling girls in bathings suits, the Detroit Electronic Music Festival, movie-watching, reading, and much, much, much self-stimulation. /forums/images/icons/blush.gif

Wow, Chicago and Little Rock should both be nothing short of miserable later in the summer. Have fun with that.

Not yet, but I have a couple of good prospects... /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif

EDIT: I figure, I'm relocating out here anyway, so, even without a job, if I want to be here, I should be here to interview and stuff.....right?

Nah I'm gonna go and do alot of loitering in female infested areas with friends. And I might take up swimming again because I need to start catching up on exercise.

summer is meaningless... it only serves to drive home the fact that my truck has no air conditioning.

There was a time, long ago, when summer meant so much... three months of freedom and anarchy, no responsibilties. It's odd, but I don't remember a single rainy day from any summer of my youth. Some might say it's because we remember only the pleasant times from our youth, but I say it's because I grew up in the desert.

It's an El Camino, not Camero(although those are great also), and BACK OFF /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif Heh. I probably won't be able to get it anyway. My mom said she doesn't want to buy a Chevy, and I say that she's not paying for it so its not her decision.

Have a good summer everyone, and have fun golfing to those of you who are going to.

Just wondering, what part of my state are you invading? Late next month we should be hitting actual summer type weather. As opposed to the really freaking cold streak of this week.

The hotel is in Corvallis, I assume that is where the wedding and partying will be also. I know nothing about Oregon geography...will it be nice there also?

I haven't spent much time in the south Willamette Valley, so I don't know. Sorry. I think it is a little drier than up in Portland, but that is not saying much. It is so damp here that you have to wash the mold off the walls every month or so. This said however, the Corvalis website says that many marrages are held there and the pictures are lovely. I just don't know much about the Eugene and Lebanon areas.
So I expect a full topigraphical report on my desk after you get back, double spaced, and cite your references.

Well Lamb of God and Atreyu are metal bands that unless you like real heavy shit, your not into them. But they are bad ass.

Superjoint Ritual is Phil anselmos new band. Phil anselmo is the former lead singer of Pantera. You do know who Pantera is. Other bands at ozzfest:

Judas Priest(With Halford)
Slayer
Ozzy
Black Label Society
Hatebreed
Slipknot
unearthed
Lacuna Coil
Otep

Its going to be great.

1. Gonna take about 3 weeks of vacation time and go visit the folks in Alabama.

2. Will have to see the ex at least twice while in Alabama. Once to drop off my daughter with her and once to pick my daughter back up.

3. Will start submitting my resume, since I will be retiring from the Air Force in early 2005.

4. Will probably have to train a new boss, and depending on certain situations at work, maybe even a second one if he is replaced as soon as we think he will be.
