Alright, so I just came back from a performance of Blast and it was just too f'n cool to not tell anyone.
If you've never heard of Blast, check out the webpage. (http://www.blasttheshow.com/blast.html)
So this raises a question that will probably pertain to a smaller group of you people. What is your favorite musical or theatre/Broadway production?

I got to see The Producers with Lane and Broderick on their last night. It was pretty great. The other really cool (and also good) show I saw was True West starring Philip Seymour Hoffman and John C. Reilly. That was amazing.
i've only seen two, Miss Siagon and the Lion King. Out of those, i'll say Miss Siagon because there was a better story there. sure the Lion King effects were cool, but i found the story a little boring. What i am looking forward to is a show called "Teenager of theYear" based on the life of Former Pixies Frontman Black Francis (Frank Black).

Reminds me of Elton John's other piece, Aida, which was also visually advanced and very creative, and had some pretty decent music. It had a tired storyline but you can't expect much more from Disney.
I'm looking forward to the newest musical just announced about Elton John and an Anne Rice Vampire story. It sounds like an odd couple but rather intriguing.
The Frank Black play sounds pretty cool. Is it a musical or a play? I rarely get to see non-musical productions, not as much as I'd like to anyway. I'm not really on par with the whole history of the Pixies and its members but I love their music.

Never been to Broadway so I'll have to settle for the West End and say Cats and Lord of the Dance
i believe it's a musical, but i'm not sure, for sure there will be pixies music in there. It's an offbroadway production that's really all i know about it. Here is a link to the website.
