I'm not sure, but frankly I've always thought the Power Rangers sucked. Especially the pink one. Amy Jo dumbface. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

You know, I was wondering when the day would come when the little idiot kids to whom the Power Rangers was marketed would start having nostalgic flashbacks about that show. These are the same kids that would say, "Voltron, who?" in a discussion about really good television.

True story: I actually "dug" them back in 93 when I was eleven after a few weeks it got stale and formulaic. Then they introduced an evil green ranger, and it was a decent story until he turned good, I give up watching at that point. At least I had the decency to grow sick of it after 2 months.

You were only 11 in '93?
My daughter used to watch them all of the time, but she grew out of them somewhere between 7-10 years of age.

Please, I was very slow maturing, I didn't outgrow action figures until early 15 /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

Robotech so kicked Voltrons ass . I mean , really pretty much every episode of Voltron was the same. The lions would form Voltron, the Robeast would be slashed and you'd be expected to tune in tomorrow for more of the same.
Robotech was an epic story. Each one of 85 episodes actually progressing the story , as earth defended itself against three distinctly different races of alien invaders through generations of war.
Unfortunately it was never as popular as Voltron here because most kids like repitition.
