I have been unable to post anything for about a week now because my DSL has been screwed up. So my question for the day is.... Is it just me or has Time Warner have too much to do. I had to schedule my appointment for a week from today to get this fixed. I was a tech for Direct T.V. a year ago and we got to you the very next day. So no offense to those who have dial up but, if you have a cable modem or anything that requires a tech to come and fix it when something goes wrong, have your internet providers been increasingly more focused on how much they can do in one day than on how fast we can serve our customers. ( me and you) I have to say I am not happy right now. This jackass didn’t even show up last week and I took off work.

P.S. If I don't write you back its not cuz’ I'm rude its because my modem is down again

How timely .

Anyways, yes, to a point. I've never had serious problems with my cable modem, Usually they're just working the bugs out of the system and sometimes I get pissed that I have to wait a couple of minutes.

T.W. Digital cable on the other hand, almost nothing but problems I just turned my box and remote in this morning. I'm not going to spend a whole day sitting around my house waiting on the next guy that can't fix the problems because the technology didn't get a proper field test and is unrefined . 3 times a tech has been out to "fix" it, and I missed a day of work and it still didn't work right.

I've gotten good tech support over the phone and that has always fixed my internet/e-mail problems except for one occasion when a storm brought down the lines and another when they were "retuning" the system . My biggest complaint lately is the " New " hompage. It's all flash and doesn't allow external linking.

Cheap Bastards !

This is what happens when one company controls pretty much everything.

Well,
I keep getting kicked off-line. It’s annoying. Either the damn thing is going to work or its not. It needs to decide so I can decide whether or not I am going to throw it out the window. I'm a planner. I know what I am going to do if this thing messes up again. I am going to go out to the shed and get my axe and.... Please stand by mass murder is ensuing....

I couldn't kill someone for messed up cable( or could I /forums/images/icons/wink.gif ) hummmm. Nope, besides the media would spin it into me losing my mind from "The Passion of the Christ", not " The In compassion of Time Warner" /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
