I can't believe they're making this into a movie (http://www.moviepoopshoot.com/news/mar04/25.html).
Reading this article brought several questions to my mind.
Why not Isaac Asimov ?
Will Rodriguez give me a job ?
Will Cheech reprise his role as the bartender ? " Bad beer, bad service, don't people know not to come here ? "
Does the ubiquitous Chris Ryall ever sleep ?
And how come those hot dogs I make at home never taste like the ones at the Stars games ?
So begins my solemn quest to find truth and meaning in this loony toon, lampoon of life.

>Why not Isaac Asimov ?
My question is, why not Ray Bradbury? Where's that long-in-the-works Martian Chronicles adaptation?
>Will Rodriguez give me a job ?
If you can get him to do Sin City before this movie instead of after, I sure hope so.
>Will Cheech reprise his role as the bartender ? " Bad beer, bad service, don't people know not to come here ? "
I think Cheech and Salma are required by law to show up in all of his movies, yeah.
>Does the ubiquitous Chris Ryall ever sleep ?
Four hours a night or so, yes.
>And how come those hot dogs I make at home never taste like the ones at the Stars games ?
The ones they sell in the stores have less hog lips and rat hair than the ones at stadiums, and we all know hog lips and rat hair is where all the flavor comes from.

I'm a huge Ray Bradbury fan, so this thrills me. They are also making a movie after a short story of his called "A Sound of Thunder". I read the story to see how it was, all I must say is that the movie should be excellent. Time travel, dinosaurs, guns, and altering history! WOO!
Should be interesting!
Hey, if You get that job...help the brothas and sistahs out! Remember us!
Oh by the way, I hear they only have piss warm chango up there.
The secret to making those hot dogs taste the way they do? You have to piss in the water before You cook 'em. Then grill them or what have You.
Oh and I heard that Chris sleeps...in that wacked-out hyperbolic chamber of His...
Just kidding Chris! Don't ban Me!

I seem to have a vague memory... something from early childhood... `81 maybe ? A miniseries on CBS or ABC ?

Well that's the last time I take a vendors word that his franks are all beef ! /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif
Down here the rats are are almost as big as the mosquitos, because of their size they're not too speedy, but man, are they fiesty ! I knew that George Foreman grill would come in handy somewhere down the line.
" It's a miracle ! The rat drains right off ! "

You know, it is a sad day in movie history when a talented actor like Elijah Wood makes a cameo in spy kids 3-d...when I saw that, my heart flew out of my chest. Heartbreaking...

I saw the second spy kids movie and I thought it was pretty good for what it was, a family movie.

And I thought Agent Cody Banks was okay for a family film, but then Ian Mcshane as the bad guy just had to be one of the main high points that sold it to me.

Ok, I admit I liked the first spy kids, then the second one just blew it for me...so at the video store we watched the third on and when Elijah came on screen, I kid you not, I spit out my Arizona Raspberry ice tea all over my computer screen. Scared the living hell out of me.

Hey, if it is funny once, it is funny every time. At least that is what "Calvin and Hobbes" used to say.
