A cyclone is about to hit the northern coast of the country.

Man , we never get cyclones here in central Texas .
Some people have all the luck.

I love making fun of my buddy who just moved to California- he always is raving about how the weather here in Michigan sucks compared to California. I always make it a point to remind him that there are predictions of a 6-7 Richter Scale earthquake there this year, (Deus forbid.)

She lives in Perth, which is 800 miles from there. But I bet she likes it that you are thinking of her!

[/ QUOTE ] I missed the one this Dec. by one day. I think every area has its drawbacks. Here we get tornados and snowstorms that kill more people than earthquakes, if you total it up.

Thanks for the concern guys but I'm just fine! As Zens pointed out, I live in the metro area so the most we'll get from that cyclone is some hot humid weather and maybe an electrical storm. Cyclones are fairly common in our north west this time of the year and they rarely come low enough to cause any damage near me.

On a completely unrelated to her safely note, I so dig your hair OzChick. (We saw it in the Jason Mewes picture.) Ok, I said it. I know, I am SUCH a girl.

Wow thanks Zens! Considering it was fairly awful in my opinion (by the end of the trip I looked like a goddamn tree huggin hippie!), thats a huge compliment! In fact, my first stop when I got home was the hairdressers! It looks a million times better now! /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Okay, I remember it now, when it was posted, I only got to see a red x. It is working for me now. Yes, she is a cutie.
