The Simpsons Film

Are we all happy about The Simpsons film? If it is made, then it will be the last Simpsons cartoon ever made. They will end the series there. I hope if they do, it is great, because some of the new episodes, while containing comedy gold, also contain some random, random stuff. Also, your views on Futurama? I was thinking of posting a Futurama or Simpsons quiz, a few questions every day.

I'm really interested to see what they do for a movie. I hope they don't stop the tv series after the movie, some episodes are still really funny.

I think a Simpsons movie is the WORST....IDEA....EVER. But that hasn't stopped me from clearing almost 2 million HSX$ on the movies' stock.

I'm torn with the Idea of a Simpsons movie, because for whatever reason, whenever a movie is made of a cartoon series i like, i loose interest in the whole thing shortly after. It happened with B&B, SouthPark, and i guess that;s all since they didn't make a Fish Police movie. But i will diffinately go see it. I'm looking forward to the Conan O'brien episodes coming out on DVD, I hope that they have the good sense to have him do a commentary. Oh, and go for the quiz, i'm a little light on the Futurama stuff, but i think that i could do OK with the Simpsons stuff. In fact, we could do it like the old Quote game, where the person who answers the question asks the next one.

I feel the same way for most cases, where cartoons are used as means to end any future production, I feel like I don't want to backtrack. In south park's case though, they went in new and bold directions thereafter, and I think that helped it.

I think with South Park they were going down hill before, and maybe because of, the movie. I stopped watching it shortly after seeing the movie. But, they definitely have improved, and I like them now just as much as I did when I first saw them.
