I used to be a big Oscar watcher... now I just don't care. It is a popularity contest first, second, and third. Somewhere around 12th is the talent contest.

I thought that MYSTIC RIVER was far more overrated and not a single one of those actors should have even been allowed to attend the damn event, much less be nominated.

Cold Mountain was very boring to me. I felt there was no plot at all/ To sum up my movie thought, it was just blah!</font color>

MYSTIC RIVER was melodrama... at least COLD MOUNTAIN was just boring.
