So, the time has come to rate the worst comic book adaption ever. I have narrowed my choice down to 2 options. Firstly; Hellboy. Not only is he the stupidest character to ever grace the fair pages of thosse hallowed books (besides LardBoy), but the story line is so stupid that I cringed during the watching.
Secondly; Garfield. Now I realise that it is a comic STRIP, but lets call a spade a spade. Garfield is possibly the greatest comic character ever, but they seem to have butchered him in the film. He is a bad looking digital character, he should have been a cartoon, the entire film should have been cartoon to preserve the quality of the drawings. But casting Jennifer Love Hewitt and Breckin Meyer as Jon, that was downright stupid. He looks nothing like Jon. I don't usually get picky about those kind of things, but the relationship between Jon and Garfield was so brilliant that they musn't wreck that with a 20 year old playing him. 20 year old's aren't depressed, they are drunk. Phew, glad to get that off my chest.
Your thoughts?
