I saw them live last night in San Diego. Oh my god. They rock. They just gave off so much energy. Jack White is a guitar-god. They did a cover of Dolly Parton's "Jolene" that was just devastating. I want to marry Meg.

Wow, you have a real ear for talent. Sorry, but if you've ever seen Jack White perform, then you will know that he is a guitar god. He's not kicking the crap out of his instruments to get those crazy sounds, there's a method to his madness.
On a side note, I went to see the Beach Boys perform on thursday. I figured I'll probably never see them again in my lifetime, so I might as well see em' once. Well, it was a truly odd experience because their drummer was none other than John Stamos!! It was more than a big slice of americana, that night it was the whole f'n pie. By the way, the Rolling Stones look like 30 somethings compared to the remaining beach boy on stage.

Uh, Jack isn't married to his sister. I don't know where you've heard that, but its not true. As for Zakk Wylde, I bet Lincoln Brewster could spin his head off with one hand.

To set the record straight, kids, Jack and Meg were once husband and wife, but they were never brother and sister. Around the time they were divorced, the two continued to be with each other as a band aka The White Stripes, and used the idea of them being brother and sister as a new identity to use for the band. However, currently, they are neither husband and wife or brother and sister - just friends and bandmates.

Well of course you agree with damnallmovies; you Rustoleum-thick coated bucket of dementia. It's hard not to agree with YOURSELF. Apparently, you didn't realize your IP address is displayed on your posts. Crack kills, dude. Seriously.

Um, damnallmovies, we can all see your IP address. That means that even if you use a different screen name we still know it's the same person. But we're the stupid ones, right? Gotcha.
Who cares? It's my birthday! Where's Fifty Cent when you need him? I'm off to celebrate/mourn another earth year under my belt. Will somebody please help damnallmovies with his identity crisis? Have a great night, kids!

Happy Birthday Tom! I wish you would've said something sooner...I'd have shopped, or thrown a party or gotten dancing girls or something! Hope you had a great day! /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Yeah - one scary pic. I searched out "dancing ladies" on Google, and I came up with that.
