I don't know if anyone else already posted this, but the Jersey Girl trailer is up here (http://www.apple.com/trailers/miramax/jersey_girl/).

tankye.

EDIT: That trailer's fan-f-king-adorable, the sell as a Ben-Liv Tyler venture should help break the "bennifer" angle movie critics are just waiting to rip it on.

Can you really blame them after "Gigli" ? I mean really ? Can you ?

The trailer is soo cute. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif I love it. It better not make me cry...cause it looks like it will be a crying movie. Oh, hell I know that I am going to cry.

Oh, and Jennifer isn't in the movie for that long (from what I heard) if you look at the trailer, it should give you that hint. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

It ever so slightly makes me think of Curly Sue.

Makes me think of " Sleepless in Seattle. "

That was a really sweet trailer. A good date movie from the looks of it. Too bad I won't have a date. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

Yeah... the trailer is very corny.

I have to agree with RB, that trailer is pretty damn sappy...If the movie wasn't written and directed by the K-man, I'd be withholding my 7.50 for this one. However, since it is KS auteured (is that a word?) I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Maybe I'll take my mom to see it. /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif

Yeah, it just seems a little surreal for me. I keep expecting jay and silent bob to pop up and give Afflecks character some advice like they did in chasing amy.

I don't know what to say, it's so different from anything Smith has done, and I hope that's a good thing. I just hope the little girl doesn't come off as some smart ass, which is what usually kills movies that have larger parts for young kids.

You know, you have to grow up sometime. You can't just keep doing movies with butt and fart jokes all the time.

I think the movie is very sweet and even if the trailer looks sappy, the film might not be. I'm really looking forward to it. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I look at it like A "Star Wars" film . I'm gonna shell out the eight bucks to see it on the big screen, if it sucks or not. There are few directors whose movies I'll watch just because they directed, Kevin Smith is one of them.

I guess the K-man is trying to get some credibility back from the industry before he just does away with it again.....Thats all i can think of. Like the trojan horse, hes a make this film widely accepted by movie goes so when the next KS movie comes out people are drawn in by the numbers only to run out in disgust and demand there money back....which they dont do when the movie has already started......genius.....simply genius....

I have faith in the film overall, just that trailer voice over makes me want to smash him, and mash him up good, damn annoying voice.
