Well, I hear this chick singing something about having the best milkshake on Mtv, while flipping through the channels. Now, this makes me wonder; What can make this milkshake so good? Does she perhaps put the perfect amount of Vanilla extract? Why does she want to charge for information on why it is so good? Could she be a relative of Colonel Sanders, and not want to tell her secret recipe?

What makes a milkshake good? Don't know, don't care. Just thank god that they are there.
Are you talking about "Steak and Shake"?
I never saw or heard of one until I moved down to Florida.
Supposedly, they've been around since the thirties or forties.
I hear good things about them. Have to get over there one day.

I don't think you're gonna find a cherry in her milkshake, and while it may be finger-licking good, I doubt she's a blood relative of the Colonel. Milkshake is probably a euphemism for something else, Psycho, although what she's actually referring to is anybody's guess. /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif
This song and that "Hey yah" song by Outcast annoy me to no end.

Kelis is the name of the artist that sings the song 'Milkshake.' Her 'milkshake' is supposed to be her personality and that is what makes the boys go crazy.

Dude, she's not really talking about a milkshake. In fact, it's pretty obvious what her lyrics are implying. She's talking about Algebra.

I don't think I'd like kelis then, last time I had milk shake it came back up within minutes of being consumed. on another note its 251 posts later, and I only just realised I'm a pooh-bah

So... everyone has decided that Milkshake is a euphamism, huh? Well, you are probably wrong. C'mon, who doesn't like a good milkshake, especially when it is made by a pretty Oriental lady...

They have Steak and Shakes in Illinois too. I love it. I'm going to Florida this summer, for a band trip. We're playing at Summer music days or something like that at Disney World, sometime in June. We're going the day right after Gay Day. Our band director had to scedule it so we weren't there on Gay Day, hahahaha. Not that there is anything wrong with gay's. I know way too many of them to care. My best friend is bi, her ex boyfriend is bi, my b/f's dad is gay . . . the list goes on.

I hate to do it, but having experienced plenty of In and Out Burger, AND Steak and Shake in the last three months...
Steak and Shake kicks some serious In and Out Burger Ass. The shakes are not even in the same league. The burgers at In and Out maybe still be the winner there, but NO WAY on the shakes. I have a patty melt at Steak and Shake, so I must abstain from direct burger vote.
Right now, as I am trapped in Yuma, AZ, I am thinking about Steak and Shake and hating the person that brought up this topic that made me want a Double Patty Melt with Cheese Fries and a Large Strawberry Milkshake.
DAMN YOU! DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL! (or Yuma, I think Yuma may be hell. I could swear I saw people running the wrong way over the boarder just to escape)

Steak and Shake? My interest has been piqued. Is it a fast-food joint, or a chain-restaurant ala Coco's?

You people think you have it all figured out, with your Steak and Shakes and your Hokey Pokey. If you want the best shake then you'll find it at Rotier's, a little Nashville establishment that makes this town's best shakes.
So, who needs your civilization, and you're outdoor plumbing? I've got Rotier's and a replica of the Parthenon to keep me happy.

Are you suggesting that Milkshakes and Pulp Fiction are trivial? Blasphemy.
Used to go to a small Italian cafe/resturaunt in Greenwich Village.
Place is called "Cafe Reggio" on MacDougal St.
Was there almost everyday. Besides some of the most wonderful food around, they made an awesome six dollar shake.

Hell yeah! Any time I'm in California I go to "In-n-Out." They are awesome! Getting a good burger in Hong Kong is not impossible but, no where near as conveinent or cheap as back in US. And there's not In-n-Out, which is a tragedy.

You Americans are lucky with all your fast food outlets and tasty burger joints.
In England the only two big fast food franchises are Alfie Billingsgate's Jellied Eel 'n' Whelk Emporium and Miggins's. Mind you the gland & kidney pie from Miggins's is pretty tasty, once you get over the yuck factor of what you're eating: they use GM wheat in the pastry. Yuck.
Oh, and we don't do milkshake at all. We have tepid milky tea instead. Not really the same thing.

I liked that shop just off Leidseplein that sells (or sold anyway; I assume it's still there) krokets and other awesome snack foods, only via vending machines on the outside. For when you're so stoned you just can't deal with direct human contact.
My big revelation there, though, was Chocomel. My god. It's almost as if it was designed to go perfectly with a shmoke. And you can't buy the stuff over here; at least, none of the shops round my way stock it.
