I was just checking out The Onion A/V club and noticed a few changes that might be of interest to those who read interesting things online.

First, classic comic strip Pathetic Geek Stories is moving to its own website. Predictably, it will be at http://www.patheticgeekstories.com/

Second, they have a new feature called 'say something funny' which provides various publicity hounding celebrities a chance to make us laugh in 250 words or less. You can read this week's bit by Weird Al Yankovic here. (http://www.theonionavclub.com/4001/ssf.html)

I thought Al was pretty damn funny but then, I would.

Ben Affleck eviscerated by peacocks ? I wish I had time to type the 712th page of " War and Peace ". That's rich. I need a glass of milk.

Shine on you crazy Threadkiller.

Yeah, not only was he funny, but he made a couple of good points. It IS hard to be funny in print- but it sure is fun to try! I like using the text itself, the letters, punctation, numbers and spacing to make it sound more like I'm talking. It's fun, posting on this board- kinda flexes the creative muscles. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
