From what I've heard, and I don't even care enough to search it on IMDB, there's a Catwoman movie in the works with Halle Berry cast as the femme fatale. I think it's going to flop and further disgrace the Batman legacy, but that hasn't stop the money-grubbing moviemakers yet.

The Catwoman movie has nothing to do with Batman. I'm not even sure if it's set in Gotham. It was written by JJ Abrams. The man who brought us Alias, Felecity, Armageddon and much much more. Unfortunately, is also writing the Superman movie that got shredded by AICN.

As for the Batman movie, I have just a wee bit of hope because Christopher Nolan is directing it. Chris is responsible for Memento and Insomnia. As well as the producing team that brought us Donnie Darko.

And for the record, if you read your moviepoopshoot.com every day you would have seen all the stories about these movies in the movies news a few months back.

I'm suprised anyone would even consider another Batman movie after Batman and Robin. And anyway, he keeps the boy in a cave.

The new Batman actually shows promise, Bale as the Dark Knight is certainly a good first step.
