Gift Certificates

this time of year it is likely you are thinking of how to spend the gift certificate you were given for christmas. I think of gift certificates in 2 ways thoughtful, rather than get me crap let me decide on the crap i want to get or thoughtless, i can't be bothered to think of a gift he may like ?

I received a total of $100 for Borders in gift cards. Can't say I am complaining. If they had given me cash I would have just wasted it on blow and hookers. Now I have something to show for it!

If I got cash... about half of it would just go towards cigarettes and booze; the other half would be spent on DVDs. And the sad thing is that is true.

Do you guys know about www.simonsgiftcard.com (http://www.simonsgiftcard.com)? They have gift cards that are on Visa cards. You can use them whereever Visa is accepted. American Express does the same thing through their site. This works wonderfully so the person can use it anywhere they want.

Yes but it's easier to listen to/watch a CD/DVD whilst working than it is to read a book, but that reminds me of todays "Should it be a movie" column. I'm still trying to figure out the "multi-tasking" and the lovely young lady or man that allows that distraction.
