We've already done the best. It was actually harder for me to think of ones I despised. So, any thoughts as to a good movie with a bad soundtrack?

I was going to say

Addams Family

but I actually don't hate Hammer that much. The soundtrack is bad though. Pretty much all of it is bad reworkings of the tv theme.

Easy! Mission Impossible 2! Who thought that Limp Bizkit should be allowed to play with that classic theme song. A special room in Hell is waiting.

Oddly enough, I equally love and hate the Natural Born Killers soundtrack.

FABULOUS mix...Leonard Cohen, NIN, Cowboy Junkies, L7, Patty Smith...

I HATE the fact that they inserted movie lines into the some of the songs. Ruin Ruin Ruin

I would say the soundtrack for Flash Gordon, but it's so cheesy, I love it.

Flash! - Ah! - Savior of the universe!
Flash! - Ah! - He'll save every one of us!

I' m going to say Glitter, that was horrible in every aspect. Oh, and the Spice girls movie, I didn't see the movie, but I'm sure it was them on the soundtrack.....

Yeah, that movie wouldn't be the same without that soundtrack . It's so horribly bad it's good in a humorous sort of way.

When I was working my way through college as an electrician, I Often had to stick my hand in a dark pokey kind of place. It always reminded me of that scene with the Baron .

Sometimes Matt1, with your vast knowledge of kitschy scifi movies , You almost make me wish I was attracted to men . Almost.

Most modern soundtracks are pretty good. However, most movies from the 70's and early 80's have horrible soundtracks.

Jebus, nerdos pull your pants back up.

I'm nominating the GhostBusters 2 soundtrack, even if it is too hot to handle, and too cold to hold.

Forgot about "Ghosts of Mars". I am a BIG Anthrax fan, so when I heard that Carpenter hired some of the guys to work with him on this score I was so stoked. Then I sat thru this cinematic turd. I have never felt so let down.

Weird coinky-dink guys. On my Tenacious D DVD, do you know what The D opens up with at their live show in England? A cover of Flash Gordon by Queen. I shit you not. Weird.

This isn't entirely on-topc here (please don't ban me!) but Paul Tonks runs through the scores for 2003 that didn't measure up to expectations in this Wednesday's KNOWING THE SCORE column. So, you know, between last-minute shopping trips and wrapping presents, check us out--we'll still have the new stuff up. Tipton's Christmas COMICS 101 that day is really good, too.

Okay, end commercial (please don't ban me!).

Wrong forum too dude. What part of 'off-topic' don't you understand? We should ban this fool! /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Ahem. If you had read the FAQ sir, you would know that solicitation is discouraged. In fact, if you read the fine print, you would notice that all forms of pimping are outlawed...Hence why I am keeping my cyber-prositution ring out of the Shoot.

Dude, no way! I can't believe they took it down. It was quite the homage to Ryall's swinging single days.
