I'm near Flint and I-69, US-23, and I-75 all basically converge in that area if that's better.

I survived 21 Chicago winters including one blizzard. My dad didn't believe in snow blowers nor my sister shoveling plus I had to do ours, our eldery neighbors and then drive over and do my grandmothers. I think I've deserved some warm climate for a while. I do miss having actual weather every now and then.

I was so pissed that after I moved out here and then they came out with the flannel and fleece lined jeans. Where the hell were they when I'm waiting for a bus at 2am when it was below zero? I bought a pair for my sister who still lives there. She loves them. Cuts the wind and are so freaking comfortable.

Hell, until lately, I didn't even think anyone read MY posts. Plus, I left the windows in my apartment open today because a friend of mine left a smoke burning in a plastic bag under my sink last night and the house reeked. Then, when I get home from work, my house is like 40 degrees. Here it is 3 hours later, and I'm still freezing my nuts off. So, I gues it's not so much the reindeer up my ass (that's a whole other topic) as the ice cubes dangling from my ankles. Sorry if I rubbed anyone the wrong way! (Except the stupid newbies.
