I have watched Dogma like twenty billion times and I still have not figured out the point in that damn movie. I mean yeah I laughed at the thing and got a few of the okes, but what was the true point of it? If you can help me I would love if you could send me a message and help me out. I guess I am just another dumb blonde Jay and Silent Bob fan, but that's my life!

If you really didn't get it after multiple viewings then what would be the point of explaining it? Just enjoy the ignorance.

I dont really follow religion nor have I, and I get it for the most part, the whole causing chaos ad causing the end of the world is way beyond my feeble brain, but eh..ignorance is blis for that, otherwise I gert everything else and motives etc.

You know.. the whole "Ideas are better than beliefs". That is the meaning of the movie. Just to not take religion so seriously.
After 20 billion times you didn't catch that?

If you didn't get it, maybe you should see it again.

well from my many watchings of the movie i think that the point is that you can not find god god wrong and that god does exsist and that it is better to have an idea of what god means to you than to have a beleave. yea thats it
