Ok... so what is your top 5 movie scores ever? Some of mine are musicals (which is like cheating) but so be it. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

1) Singing in the Rain music by Nacio Herb Brown and Lennie Hayton

2) The Fugitive music by James Newton Howard

3) Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back music by John Williams

4) The Producers music by Norman Blagman, Mel Brooks and John Morris

5) Lawrence of Arabia music by Maurice Jarre

Eh, I really don't feel like thinking and putting them order

-The Abyss - Alan Silvestri - Just a good theme that captures sci-fi
-2001: A Space Odessey - yeah, its not original music but its used to full potential
-Star Wars: EPII - Williams - strangely enough its my favorite, more contemporary than classical
-Jesus Christ Superstar - Webber/Rice - Here's my two cents on a musical. Can't go wrong with 70's rock-opera.
-Fight Club - The Dust Brothers - they created a score for today's sound systems, pure energy and bass, really helps capture the film.

Interestingly enough, I almost put Episode II and Fight Club in there too.

Repo Man is filled with tracks by the punk bands of the time. Iggy Pop, Black Flag, Suicidal Tendencies, Circle Jerks, and Fear among others. The instrumental "Reel Ten" by the Plugz is used several times in the movie and is one of my all-time favorite pieces.

Funny, I don't remember much about that movie. I am a huge fan of all of those bands though. Thanks for the info, I will need to look it up.
