I'm on Kazaa downloading songs right now, wait dont judge me yet, I am "sampling" some bands so that I can go and buy some CD's later. The only problem is CD's are so costly and normally I only get one or two good tracks on the CD. So I want the most bang for my buck, what do you recommand fellow poopers of the shoot.

I like bands like
Led Zepplin
The WHo
Metallica
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Beck (God help me I dont know why)
And Piano type things (I dont mean to be so vauge)

So um yeah HELP!

if you like The Verve, you should check out Richard Ashcroft's first solo album Alone With Everybody.
Brand New is worth checking out.

Man, I'm not even going to get into a list or I won't leave work on time.

With out a doubt you should download S.P.O.C.K. Great electronic music with loads of keyboard solos. Also the basis all of their music is on (you guessed it) star trek, and/or space travel. A must have for all the geeks out there. (not pointing any fingers)

If someone doesn't have Raw Power by Iggy and the Stooges in their collection, I find myself questioning their devotion to and knowledge of music. Greatest rock album ever.

Buy from the iTunes store. Then you can get your 1 or 2 good songs per album, but you can just pay for those songs instead of the whole album so it'll only cost you $2 instead of $10 or more and you'll be supporting the artists you love.

You know, even though I am a straight guy, I also like the new McLachlan CD. Of course, I have liked all of her stuff.
