Fox actually makes a smart programming decision..... Arrested Development (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=597&e=1&u=/nm/20031123/tv_nm/television_arrested_dc)

"Arrested Development" may generate some additional buzz in the coming weeks with high-profile guest shots including Liza Minnelli (news), who began a multi-episode arc on the show Sunday.

[/ QUOTE ] Anybody else think that she will be the kiss of death?

Knowing Fox, they'll probably be so proud of their show that they'll put it in the famous Friday night memorial timeslot.

[/ QUOTE ] I dont think you really needed to qualify that with "in the previews". You could have just said "She sure does look gross".

I love this news. This show is so damn funny...last night was great again, and the presence of freakish Liza Minelli didn't even bring it down. Finally a show I like will last an entire season.

Now if only NBC would admit they made a mistake with WHOOPI and yank that mess off the air.

I do think Happy Family (is that what it's called?) is pretty funny, actually, surprisingly. But Tuesdays on NBC are in dire straits right now....even Frasier is running out of steam.

Speaking of Frasier, I saw a great episode in syndication the other day- Niles and Frasier became caviar dealers and Roz became a caviar junkie. That was the funniest episode I've seen in a long time, and I really enjoyed it!

Re: Liza looking gross... She did get caught between the Moon and New York City, you know. That's got to hurt. I know it's crazy, but it's true. So cut her some slack.

Re: Happy Family.... I have always like John Leroquette (yes i know it's spelled incorrectly) and thought that his post Night Court show got the shaft, but even with that, i didn't hold high hopes for this "family sitcom", but i kind of dig it.
