Well, we're supposed to hold all reviews until the day of release, which means I can't talk too much about this screening last night until my column on Monday. But basically, if you're in the mood to see some very stupid people get drunk and do stupid things and show their breasts and pout and act cocky and be bitchy and petty and hook up and argue and drink some more and dance to Simple Plan and preen and posture for the camera and search for even stupider people...well, this just might be the movie for you.

They show their breasts and get drunk in this movie? But Jeff Wells said it was about foreign students studying in Cancun.

Wait, they are putting "Girls Gone Wild" in theaters? Even after their boss got busted for naughtiness with a minor?

There was a VH1 "special" on Girls Gone Wild last night. Quite funny. A girl gets all freaky on camera doing god-knows-what with some friends in a back room at a club. Then she gets freaked out and runs out of the room crying. If you are going to cry about getting freaky on camera then, don't get freaky on camera...Not that I am encouraging girls to not "go wild", just don't cry about it afterwards.

I think you've already reviewed the movie, that is unless there is a deeper meaning to words like "boobs" and "booze".

Well, the movie has a real heart with Alan, the geeky everyman that those who go see a movie for boobs and booze can relate to. He is the archetype of...

Who am I kidding. This could be the death of cinema.

Stupid idea for a movie = A movie about the beautiful people and the stupid insignificant problems that they face. And at the same time they'll be getting drunk, naked, and having sex. Do not screen this film near an open flame.

Did they get drunk and naked on that show? I never really watched it.

I stick by what I said when Ryall first put up a post saying he wanted to see The Real Cancun. Reality movies don't exist. This is a crappy sex documentary. If you can even call it that. On second thought, lets just call it a pornomentury, or some shit that keeps it away from the actual realm of professional cinema. I'm glad you thought it was stupid Chris.

I can't believe you'd even waste your time going to a screening of the latest piece of turd by MTV.

I can't believe i'm going to say this, but:

In MTV's defense (whew, that's tough!), they did pick up Better Luck Tommorow which was seen as rather controversial at the Sundance Film Fest. From the reviews of it from Sundance I didn't think the movie would ever see a wider release. Then again, MTV will probably do more screen tests and try to make the film more friendly and profitable.

First of all, guys from Kentucky can't use the word "dude." Leave our words along--you don't see me misappropriating "y'all" from you now, do you?

And...wait, is this from the guy that doesn't even have MTV?

I didn't WANT to see the movie, really, but it's, you know, my job. For the good of the site and my column, I sat through it. Barely.

And I was trying to speak in a language you would understand. We know how slow you Californians can be baking your brain in the sun and all (stupid nice year round weather! There was frost on my car Wednesday morning I tell ya!)

And by the way I now have cable again! My wife has been wanting it, I could care less, but told her if we could ever get it without an installation fee she could have it. Stupid cable guy comes to my door and tells us our cable is hooked up and if we want to keep it he could start billing us saving us on the installation...first thing I thought was WHY DIDN'T I CHECK THE OUTLET!!!! Argh! So we got cable now. Another bill. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif
