hi, I just bought two of these comics at a garage sale. they're marvel comics, one is close encounters of the third kind: the offical comic book adaptaion and the other is spider-man vs. superman, they're about 3 or 4 times the size of a normal comic book and in mint condition, I have no idea how much these ae worth, does anyone out there know? /forums/images/icons/confused.gif

Yeah, the old Marvel Treasury Editions...those were cool. I doubt CE3K is worth much, despite it having old Walt Simonson art (I think) -- I've seen it at shows for like $15 or so.
The other one, Superman vs. Spider-Man, is probably worth a bit more, since it's the first real inter-company crossover (there was also a Wizard of Oz treaury edition that was a joint venture with Marvel and DC, but this one's the first real character crossover). Love that Ross Andru art! I've seen that one for around $25 or so.
You can check here (http://www.comicspriceguide.com/) if you want to see for sure. If you can find them on there, click on the price that comes up and it'll give you value for every kind of condition.

Nah, that's it for probably a long time (or until someone kicks enough money at a hot creator). They've said there was too many crossovers in the late `90s and want to hold off on them, so when they DO happen, they're more special.
