Just want to say that I think Bowden's work is some of the funniest and best-written stuff on the site- even a non-mark would enjoy his style. Keep it up, dude!

Here goes all of my intellectual credability.
Yeah, I'll agree with you here. Bowden has a great way of telling a story. Growing up in the AWA territory (right before WWF started taking over the territories) it makes me long for those days when we used to go to the St Paul Civic Center and watch people who became icons and governors for $5 a pop. And Bobby Heenan was no managing slouch either. Crusher Lisowski and the Claw in their champaign drenched tag champ celebration was one of my earliest memories.
Bowden's so good that he also makes me wish I'd gotten to see the old Memphis days. Living in Nashville now and regularly attending the TNA shows, I understand why Bowden was affraid of the three hour trip (however, it is absolutely hillarious to hear the fans cheer for Kid Kash: "Let's go, Keyid, let's go!!)
But, I'm getting away from the point. Bowden's damn good, and I look forward to Thursdays on the Shoot reading his column.
