"I'd like to thank all the small, furry, colored monkeys I had to plagerize from to get where I am today."

It is not plagerizing, it is "sampling."

Hey, do you have any idea how nominations work? Is it just a few CBR people, or are strips submitted? No slight to other nominees at all, but I think our strips en masse are better than just about anyone else out there, and I'd like to see the other worthy things here recognized, too.

Or do you have to sleep your way to a nom? Because that could always be arranged, too.

And congrats again to you and Ryan, and separately to BRAT-HALLA guy Jeff.

I agree with you, too, Eric Powell's THE GOON is an amazing comic, one of the best things out right now.

Now everyone should go vote! It's cool to write in MONKEY MAN and the others, too. My new governor has taught me that voting can make absolutely anything happen.

Nominations were a couple of weeks ago and somehow Ted snuck in there. I actually nominated Monkey Man... so he was there.

And while I agree that ALL of the others here are more deserving (I really do!), I'm also a greedy bastard... votes count... VOTE FOR TED and we'll make him share it wityh the Poop Shoot!!!

"BEST SHORT STORY (Question #2): DUNGEON BEARS (drawn by Ted Noodleman Artist Ryan Ottley!)."

Hi everyone! I'm the writer for the upcoming Brat-halla webcomic here at Movie Poop Shoot. This story was a blast to write, and Ryan did an incredible job with the artwork. For those that haven't had a chance to read "Dungeon Bears: An 80s Parody" yet, I posted it online at my site. It's basically Care Bears meets the 80s Dungeons & Dragons cartoon.

I like how you used "my little pony" to parody uni. Too bad there wasn't counterpart for Venger.

I also added a link to it here when people click on the teaser banner. Really fun story!

"That is some sick, twisted, beautiful stuff right there."

Hey Razorback...that's exactly what I was going for! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif Thanks for the comments.

And Omaru, if I had more room to work with, I would have tried to work in Venger AND Tiamat (I was limited to 5 pages or less on this story). I think a Monchichi would be evil enough to represent Venger.

UNBELIEVABLY Ted Noodleman (and therefore MoviePoopShoot) has a very real chance of winning this... but the votes are REAL close! PLEASE show your love, and swing by to vote!

Thank you all kindly for your support!
